your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. “Baptized into Your Name Most Holy”

Mr. Corey Dupree

God of glory, fill your church with the power that flows from Christ’s resurrection so that, in the midst of our worship, we may serve you as your renewed humanity, risen to new life with Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

The Nicene Creed

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. . . . He has shown strength with his arm; he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate; . . . He has helped us in remembrance of his mercy.

†Call to Worship: Luke 1:68-79; 46-55 Praise be to the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us; to show the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant, . . . to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

†Prayer of Confession

Our great and glorious God, You who know and judge the secrets of every human heart; we acknowledge and confess that we have followed our first covenant head, Adam, in revolting against your commandments. We have turned from your ways and from your blessed presence, and have reaped the misery of turning away from you, the very author of life. None of us is righteous like you, no not one; none of us has understanding like you, none of us seek you with the totality of our being; our throats are opened graves; we use our tongues to deceive; our mouths are full of cursing and bitterness; our feet are swift to shed blood, when they should be swift to walk in the way of peace. We appeal to you, through your great mercy made manifest in Jesus Christ your obedient Son, that you would forgive our sins for His sake. Make many righteous through His obedience, so that where our sin has increased, your grace would abound. Just as Christ was raised from the dead by your glory to be our new covenant head, so help us to walk in the newness of his life. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. Assurance of Pardon: Colossians 2:11-14 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. And you, who were dead in

Communion Here at Grace, we celebrate communion every Lord’s Day, alternating between morning and evening services. The Lord’s Supper is an occasion for believers in Christ to meet with their Savior by faith, to be strengthened and renewed by him, and celebrate him. All who have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who trust alone in Christ as Savior and Lord, are a member in good-standing in a Reformed or Evangelical church, are at peace with their neighbor, and seek strength to live more faithfully, are invited to partake in this holy meal. If you are not a believer, or if you choose not to share in this meal, we invite you to spend this time in prayer. The outer rings of cups contain wine, the inner ring contains juice.

Nursery Care We enjoy having our children worship with us. However, should parents need assistance with their young children, we have nursery workers available that are seated in the back of the sanctuary. A diaper changing station is available in the fellowship room by the restrooms. Please do not hesitate to speak with a nursery worker if you have any questions. It is our delight to serve you and your children in any way we can.

Heavenly Father, as you have given yourself to us in Jesus Christ, help us to give ourselves to you, living according to your holy will. Keep our feet firmly in the way where Christ leads us and help our lives to reflect his grace and truth, that we may manifest the fragrant aroma of his life to a world inundated with the stench of death. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
