Introduction

14th – 25th January 15th – 26th of July

TCDC has 30 years of experience in teaching expatriates Swahili, enabling them to engage in a diversity of projects in East Africa. Swahili and English are official languages in Tanzania, but English is only the language of higher courts, whereas Swahili is the language of social affairs and interaction. Improvement of Swahili language skills is therefore highly important, if one is to engage in activities, e.g. developing work in East Africa. In order to deliver professional Swahili training, Global Platform Tanzania´s Swahili teachers have all gone through training at TCDC after their university degree.
