This accountancy project, completed in partial fulfillment of the 2018-19 CBSE exam curriculum, was carried out with the aims to understand the complete accounting cycle of the organization. While carrying out the research I was able to wholly appreciate accounting as a process of recording, classifying and summarizing information as well as its analysis and interpretation. For this project, I utilized pie-charts as the tool of analysis and processed data from journals, ledgers, trial balances, adjusting entries and final accounts.
In the second part of my project, I focused on Segment Analysis to assess whether assets allocation is sufficient and justified. The Segment Report focused on India Bulls Ltd. and I carried out this research on the basis of comparative statements, bar graphs and pie charts analyzing their sales, profit and capital employed. Within the financial year of 2018-19, the biggest capital employed is in the financing and related activities which increased drastically to 3433.19%.
