Come to a free 80-minute screening of some of “Canada’s finest (and funniest!) animated films.” Billed as “an eclectic collection of entertaining new animation films, ranging from the whimsical to the experimental,” the series promises to be great.

Muybridge’s Strings by Koji Yamamura

Following the screening meet Marv Newland, world-renowned animator and UFV faculty member. His short, CMYK, is one of the films presented. Other credits include Bambi meets Godzilla, one of the 50 greatest cartoons of all time!

Wild Life by Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby

The films will be followed by a special presentation by UFV’s Visual Arts instructor Marv Newland, director of the short film CMYK.
