3. ...I, [say your name],...

f you desire to become a mighty prayer warrior in the earthly army of God and a valiant soldier in the spiritual battle to help establish God's Kingdom on Earth – this message is for you. First of all, you need to know the different types of prayers and also when and how to use each type. Here is a partial list:

4. [From the list below, speak the action(s) you are taking. (The type of prayer is shown in the parenthesis following each action. To help build your faith, do some research and study some of the powerful Bible prayers prayed by Elijah, Jesus, Paul and other mighty prayer warriors).]

* Prayer of faith * Prayer of intercession * Prayer of intervention * Prayer of praise * Prayer of submission * Prayer of supplication * Prayer of thanksgiving * And there are others

Actions (listed in alphabetical order) * Adjure (faith) * Ask (supplication) * Beseech (supplication/intercession) * Bind (faith) * Bless (faith) * Call forth the full manifestation of (faith) * Cancel (faith) * Cast out (faith) * Come against (faith) * Command (faith) * Declare (faith) * Decree (faith) * Intercede on behalf of (intercession) * Loose (faith) * Pray that (faith) * Proclaim (faith) * Rebuke (faith) * Release (faith) * Say unto you [i.e., rise and walk, etc.] (faith) * And there are many others

For example, when you use a prayer of faith, you should talk to the target – not to God! A prayer of faith has at least six elements which you should include. They are: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Name the target Establish your authority Name yourself as the channel of power Speak the action(s) you are taking Quote the Scripture(s) you are standing on Close the prayer

Here is an outline for a prayer of faith, using the six elements above, which you can customize and use to fight some of your battles: 1. [say the name of the target (whether it is a person (i.e., Joe Smith), a body part (i.e., heart or brain), a condition, circumstance, problem, Satan, etc.)],...

5. ...For it is written... [quote the Scripture(s) on which your prayer is based]. 6. I now call forth the full manifestation of this prayer and I decree it is done; and I thank the Most High God and give Him all of the praise and glory forever, in Jesus' name, amen.

2. the name of Jesus of Nazareth, whose I am and whom I serve, and by the authority given unto me by the Word of the Most High God,...

or Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, it all began in her hometown, Jesup, Georgia. There she functioned as Worship Leader of Jesup New Life Ministries, founded by her late father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs. Tasha faithfully lent her talents at her local assembly before an unforeseen relocation to Atlanta, Georgia, where she joined the thriving dReam Center Church of Atlanta. Most of her tenure at dReam Center entailed leading worship weekly and managing the various entities of the Worship & Arts Department. She now serves as one of the team pastors at dReam Center. In 2012, Cobbs would go on to record her freshman project titled GRACE, produced by multi-award-winner and Motown Gospel label mate, VaShawn Mitchell. This project featured the lead single, "Break Every Chain" – which landed as Billboard's #1 song for a total of 12 weeks. The album, Grace, landed on Billboard's Top 10 Gospel Albums chart for a year. Her latest project is entitled, Heart. Passion. Pursuit. At the 2018 Stellar Awards, Cobbs was nominated in nine categories and won in four of those categories. She won Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year; Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year; Contemporary CD of the Year; and Recorded Music Packaging of the Year. For more information, visit

In the years that followed, he joined the group, Hot Line and was signed to De-Lite Records – which was the label for Kool & The Gang, GQ,The Kay-Gees and others. They recorded several singles. "Can I Trust You?" by Bishop Huden S. Roberts. It has been said that the richest place on earth is the cemetery. This statement is true because most of us never really reach our true potential in life. This book speaks very clearly about how you ought to make the time to study and develop your God-given gifts and talents – then share them with the world. Most of our time is spent wondering if we can trust God, but in this God-mandated book, God asks you... "Can I trust YOU? Read this book and begin to discover true life – the God kind of life. askdr. carl Dr. Carl answers your questions Dear Dr. Carl: I am an ordained deacon at my church. I have been a member there for more than 20 years. I have tithed regularly. I even put a second mortgage on my home to help our pastor build the current building. My wife became ill a couple of years ago, and she died last year. My pastor never came to visit. He said that it was the deacon’s job to visit the sick. Recently, however, some people visited from out of town, and during their testimony, they praised the pastor for visiting one of their loved ones who was sick. I felt so exploited, I left the church. I realized that I have placed my faith in man, not God. I am through with organized religion. – Finished

Dear Finished: You might have identified one part of the problem – placing one’s allegiance in a pastor is not as wise as placing one’s allegiance in God. Looking to man for affirmation and actualization is almost always a sure road to disappointment, but we do need the fellowship of the church. It sounds as if you could be blaming the pastor for your wife’s death, and you might have expected more pastoral attention after having made significant contributions to the church building fund, and now your home is tied up in a non-refundable mortgage. However, I believe that you might be “throwing the baby out with the bath water” since God did not fail you, but it seems as if your pastor did. While you say you are “finished,” there could be consequences for quitting an important ministry as the deaconate. Should you change your mind and move your membership, your ordination might not be accepted by another church. Before doing anything, I recommend that you earnestly seek God’s face, get a prayer partner, and pray for enlightenment about your direction. Forgive yourself. Then talk with your pastor. Without accusing him of negligence, discuss your thoughts, and let him know how you feel. I pray that you find comfort in these words. – Dr. Carl
