3. ...I, [say your name],...

f you desire to become a mighty prayer warrior in the earthly army of God and a valiant soldier in the spiritual battle to help establish God's Kingdom on Earth – this message is for you. First of all, you need to know the different types of prayers and also when and how to use each type. Here is a partial list:

4. [From the list below, speak the action(s) you are taking. (The type of prayer is shown in the parenthesis following each action. To help build your faith, do some research and study some of the powerful Bible prayers prayed by Elijah, Jesus, Paul and other mighty prayer warriors).]

* Prayer of faith * Prayer of intercession * Prayer of intervention * Prayer of praise * Prayer of submission * Prayer of supplication * Prayer of thanksgiving * And there are others

Actions (listed in alphabetical order) * Adjure (faith) * Ask (supplication) * Beseech (supplication/intercession) * Bind (faith) * Bless (faith) * Call forth the full manifestation of (faith) * Cancel (faith) * Cast out (faith) * Come against (faith) * Command (faith) * Declare (faith) * Decree (faith) * Intercede on behalf of (intercession) * Loose (faith) * Pray that (faith) * Proclaim (faith) * Rebuke (faith) * Release (faith) * Say unto you [i.e., rise and walk, etc.] (faith) * And there are many others

For example, when you use a prayer of faith, you should talk to the target – not to God! A prayer of faith has at least six elements which you should include. They are: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Name the target Establish your authority Name yourself as the channel of power Speak the action(s) you are taking Quote the Scripture(s) you are standing on Close the prayer

Here is an outline for a prayer of faith, using the six elements above, which you can customize and use to fight some of your battles: 1. [say the name of the target (whether it is a person (i.e., Joe Smith), a body part (i.e., heart or brain), a condition, circumstance, problem, Satan, etc.)],...

5. ...For it is written... [quote the Scripture(s) on which your prayer is based]. 6. I now call forth the full manifestation of this prayer and I decree it is done; and I thank the Most High God and give Him all of the praise and glory forever, in Jesus' name, amen.

2. ...in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, whose I am and whom I serve, and by the authority given unto me by the Word of the Most High God,... gospelusamagazine.com

How To Get Radio Airplay N

repeated commercial airplay without a major label's backing are slim to none. Much of commercial s ta t i o n ' s p l a y l i s ts a r e dictated from on high by the central corporate office.

othing can beat the instant widespread exposure that radio can offer, so it's no wonder artists are always asking, "How do I get played on the radio?" Getting your music played is still a daunting task, but with so many diversified outlets for music listening available today, artists have the ability to target a smaller, more realistically achievable niche market without having to spend big bucks on a large, corporate radio campaign.

But, if money is no object, hire a radio promoter. Radio promoters are experts who have developed relationships with DJs and have the ear of program directors across the country. Despite the high price tag (usually between $1,500$6,000 for 3-12 weeks), hiring a radio promoter still cannot guarantee you any kind of tangible results. Your chances of success are part talent, part endurance, part hype, and part luck. However, if your music is really good, you will have a better chance of getting sustained and meaningful airplay with the assistance of a well-connected radio promoter.

The term "radio" gets used in many different ways. Here is a list of all the different formats that get referenced as radio. Commercial Radio. These are the big powerful stations that line up on your AM/FM dial. Typically they are owned by large media groups and program their music playlists based off the Billboard charts. College/Non-profit Radio. Usually completely independent entities where DJ's create playlists with music they love. Community Radio. Similar to the college radio station, but with an extremely local flavor. Satellite Radio. Sirius and XM are two satellite radio providers of note. Internet Radio and Podcasts. Pandora (with an estimated 50 million users worldwide) is a standout in this bunch, but there are numerous other worthy contenders who broadcast completely online.

[This article is an excerpt from the booklet, "Getting Radio Airplay" released by CD Baby. CD Baby is the complete artist services company to help with any of your musical needs – from digital and physical distribution, to in-store sales, to live-gig credit card sales, to web-hosting and site design, to download cards – and more. So how do you get played on radio? To crack commercial radio, you'll need a radio promoter. Right off the bat, we should say that even with the help of a radio promoter, your chances of getting

What Is An ISRC Code – And Why Do You Need It?

n International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is a 12digit alphanumeric code that can be permanently encoded into a sound recording or music video as its digital fingerprint. An ISRC enables your product to be automatically identified when it is played on the air or streamed anywhere. ISRCs are used globally by download sites and collecting societies for music tracking, royalty payments, rights administration and more. An ISRC is REQUIRED by most digital distribution outlets and download sites, such as Amazon, in order to sell your content online.

clients or customers. ISRC Managers, such as CDBaby.com, Amazon.com and others, can provide individual ISRCs to independent artists or to those who do not wish to manage their own ISRC assignment. ISRCs are issued as a part of the business arrangement between the company and an artist. Regardless of how your ISRCs are obtained, you will be able to use them for the life of the recording. There is no distinction between ISRCs issued by ISRC Managers and those issued using your own Registrant Code. Remember... ISRC codes are to the digital world what the UPC code is to the retail world or the ISBN number is to a book. To become a registrant or manager, visit www.usisrc.org.

How can you obtain an ISRC code? Two ways: First, recording rights owners based in the United States can apply for a Registrant Code through the U.S. ISRC Agency. This Registrant Code will allow that label, company or independent artist to assign ISRCs for all of its past, current and upcoming recordings. There is a one-time $95 application fee for the Code. The Code is yours for life, and it will allow you to assign up to 100,000 ISRCs each year. You can apply for a Registrant Code at www.usisrc.org. Second, the U.S. ISRC Agency has allocated Registrant Codes for ISRC Managers, which they can use to assign ISRCs on behalf of

2 Reasons Why You're Not Getting Paid All the Performance Royalties You're Owed

ances, TV and radio stations that transmit music to viewers and listeners – and even churches, choirs, praise teams and soloists who sing your music. You can affiliate yourself as a songwriter with an organization like ASCAP or BMI, or let a service like CD Baby Pro handle it for you the next time you distribute an album or single through them. Remember: No P.R.O. affiliation, no performance royalties!

Whenever music you've written is played on the radio, streamed online, used in the soundtrack to a TV show/film/game, or performed in a live venue – you are owed a royalty for that "performance." But independent artists often don't get paid all the performance royalties they could be collecting, and there are two common reasons for this sad fact.

#1 – No P.R.O. affiliation. What's a P.R.O.? According to Wikipedia: "a Performance Rights Organization (P.R.O.) is an organization that provides intermediary functions – particularly royalty collection – between copyright holders and parties who wish to use copyrighted works publicly…"

#2– Not listing your actual songs with your P.R.O.. Performing Rights Organizations aren't psychic, and they certainly don't have the time to keep theirs eyes on every career move you make. Whenever you write, record, and release a new song or album, you actually have to go back into your P.R.O. account and tell them about this new material! Otherwise, they have no idea what songs they should be collecting performance royalties for in the first place. If you want to get paid performance royalties for your songs, you've got to register them with your P.R.O..

Hmmm. So a P.R.O. collects royalties FOR the songwriter FROM some "parties?" Who are those parties? Well, they include restaurants and stores that play music for customers, websites that stream music online, night clubs and venues that host live perform-
