3. ...I, [say your name],...
f you desire to become a mighty prayer warrior in the earthly army of God and a valiant soldier in the spiritual battle to help establish God's Kingdom on Earth – this message is for you. First of all, you need to know the different types of prayers and also when and how to use each type. Here is a partial list:
4. [From the list below, speak the action(s) you are taking. (The type of prayer is shown in the parenthesis following each action. To help build your faith, do some research and study some of the powerful Bible prayers prayed by Elijah, Jesus, Paul and other mighty prayer warriors).]
* Prayer of faith * Prayer of intercession * Prayer of intervention * Prayer of praise * Prayer of submission * Prayer of supplication * Prayer of thanksgiving * And there are others
Actions (listed in alphabetical order) * Adjure (faith) * Ask (supplication) * Beseech (supplication/intercession) * Bind (faith) * Bless (faith) * Call forth the full manifestation of (faith) * Cancel (faith) * Cast out (faith) * Come against (faith) * Command (faith) * Declare (faith) * Decree (faith) * Intercede on behalf of (intercession) * Loose (faith) * Pray that (faith) * Proclaim (faith) * Rebuke (faith) * Release (faith) * Say unto you [i.e., rise and walk, etc.] (faith) * And there are many others
For example, when you use a prayer of faith, you should talk to the target – not to God! A prayer of faith has at least six elements which you should include. They are: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
Name the target Establish your authority Name yourself as the channel of power Speak the action(s) you are taking Quote the Scripture(s) you are standing on Close the prayer
Here is an outline for a prayer of faith, using the six elements above, which you can customize and use to fight some of your battles: 1. [say the name of the target (whether it is a person (i.e., Joe Smith), a body part (i.e., heart or brain), a condition, circumstance, problem, Satan, etc.)],...
5. ...For it is written... [quote the Scripture(s) on which your prayer is based]. 6. I now call forth the full manifestation of this prayer and I decree it is done; and I thank the Most High God and give Him all of the praise and glory forever, in Jesus' name, amen.
2. ...in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, whose I am and whom I serve, and by the authority given unto me by the Word of the Most High God,... gospelusamagazine.com

coverstory BDM / Ugroove Music presents...
Shelia Moore Piper The Anointed Singer Re-releases Her Soulful Single, "Get Excited" From Her Current Album, "Are You Ready? Chapter 2"
ouston, Texas-based Christian Soul singer Shelia Moore Piper brings listeners 47 minutes worth of excellent listening with her most spectacular work to date... Are You Ready? Chapter 2.
Released on the BDM / Ugroove Music label in 2014, the spirit-filled album is comprised of 12 powerful and anointed tracks, including the title track, "Are You Ready?" – featuring vocalist Erin Stevenson – and the popular single, "Get Excited" – which debuted on the top 50 DRT Rock/Adult Contemporary Chart. "Get Excited" was re-released in April of this year and it is rapidly gaining nationwide attention. Shelia Moore Piper is simultaneously unashamed in declaring the joyful news of the Gospel while crafting a sound that is unabashedly and jubilantly analog in a digital world. She and her husband, Glenn 'GP' Piper, established their independent record label and production company, called BDM / Ugroove Music, in 2004. In 2009, the company released Shelia's debut album entitled, Tha Story Told Twice. With signature songs like "Single Lady" and "Rest Your Mind" – Tha Story Told Twice received generous airplay from various stations including 92.1 Praise, former home of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show. In 2016, Shelia won the Season 8 Grand Finale Champion Award at the Prayze Factor People's Choice International Awards held in Nassau, Bahamas at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, home of the late Dr. Myles Munroe. She also won the Music Video of the Year award for her song, "Get Excited," at the 2016 IGARA Radio Alliance Awards. In addition, the song she co-wrote and co-produced with her husband for Atlanta-based artist Earl White, entitled "No Fair-Weather Friend" – has received three nominations for 2017 IGARA Radio Alliance Awards. The nominations are for the following categories: Best Artist With Featured Vocalist; Inspirational Song Of The Year; and Best Music Production. She is currently gearing up for her promotional tour in cities including: Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC – to name a few. When you spend time with Shelia, you will begin to understand the subtle intensity of her music. Shelia says, "as an artist, I want my music to uplift and inspire. Through the years, the sound of gospel music has evolved to speak to new generations... and I want to be relevant." Music is her ministry, and it was this passion and conviction that inspired Shelia Moore Piper to record her current album, Are You Ready? Chapter 2. Are You Ready? Chapter 2 is a body of music that is inviting, reflective and encompasses a universal message of worship, self-love and hope. Shelia deals with these themes directly and with endless finesse. This album stretches over a variety of styles... often utilizing jazz and soul undertones and sometimes dealing in groovy offerings of funk with light smatterings of Motown and disco... and occasionally visiting the hip-hop genre. All in all, the project is exceptional listening, incredibly well orchestrated and produced, and represents a fantastic introduction for gospelusamagazine.com 9
the public to this astounding, Christian Soul singer. Shelia has lifted her voice and talents at various special events, including "Koinonia" at Lakewood International (her home church), where mega church pastor Joel Osteen presides; Pastor Dan Willis (I'm Just Say in) gospel TV show in Detroit; and recently at the 19th Annual Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards held in Houston, Texas. Purchase Shelia Moore Piper's music on all digital outlet stores including iTunes, Amazon, Bestbuy.com, Walmart.com, iHeart Radio, Apple Music, Google Play and others. The 6 things you're afraid of when you put out new music
won't love it" and forget about the first fear. You can't please everybody. That's why there are 600+ genres in CD Baby's music store. But if you can impress a small percentage of a huge population, or a high percentage of a small population, you have a hit.
By Chris Robley
ear can come in many varieties for an artist who's just about to release a new album or single. Everything feels heightened when this music you've poured so much into is about to meet the world. Here are some of the more common fears you might be feeling before your new sound drops.
I won't recoup Your music doesn't become more valuable the more you spend making it. That's kind of a crappy attitude to take into a recording project that the primary goal (and the primary fear) is financial in nature.
The songs are crap Don't always trust your final assessment; don't always doubt the way you USED to feel. And if you find yourself comparing yourself to your favorite geniuses of song, stop.
It won't get me anywhere Instead of losing sleep over how this music might not hit all the targets you've set, be open to the opportunities it DOES create and follow those. At the very least you'll have grown as an artist, gained experience promoting your music, and learned from what worked and didn't.
The sound is [ ] As you're listening back to this track a billion times, not only is the magic of the song wearing off, but the magic of the SOUND is dying too. You hear every "imperfection," until eventually the only thing you hear is imperfection. No one will hear it You may not have a huge budget for PR or video production, but there are countless small actions you can take to "promote" your music. This blog is full of those ideas.

No one will like it There's a big different between "no one will like my music" and "everyone won't love it." Embrace "everyone
The Kenneth Wilson Chorale
ove Records presents the Kenneth Wilson Chorale on their hit single, "It's Just Not Over" – from their new worldwide CD album release titled, Incorruptible Seed. After suffering a heart attack in June 2015, Kenneth Wilson temporarily had thoughts that his music ministry days were over and the end was near. But God had spoken and clearly said, "It's Just Not Over." There is so much more that is required of Elder Kenneth Wilson and the Kenneth Wilson Chorale. Therefore, we continue. Elder Kenneth Wilson, an ordained minister, published book author, radio host and successful business entrepreneur – founded the Detroit-based Kenneth Wilson Chorale in 1986 and is known for their Praise & True Worship music ministry. He started playing the piano in church at age 10 and has been musically influenced by the music of George Duke, Earth, Wind & Fire, Andrae Crouch, The Winans and many other outstanding recording artists. He has written and published over 320 songs. The Kenneth Wilson Chorale cordially invites you to share their journey as they continue to glorify God using Praise and True Worship music along with a lifestyle that truly brings glory to God. Procedure for critiquing products: A score of 1 to 10 points are awarded in each of ten ratings categories (sound quality, vocal ability, musicianship, CD cover design, packaging, etc.). The points are totaled and the 30 songs which receive the most points are listed numerically on the chart. There is a one-time fee of only $125 to have a song critiqued by us ($75 with purchase of any size ad), but paying the fee does not guarantee the song will make the chart. Making the chart is achieved solely on the merits of the song itself. Each song which makes the chart is also listed on our web site along with a link to its web site, if available, so that our readers can sample the song. To obtain a critique of YOUR song, just send us the song with payment. gospelusamagazine.com 17

askdr. carl Dr. Carl answers your questions The XRP DJ Music Dear Dr. Carl: Group Launches The Should Christians Carry XRP Record Pool Guns To Protect n 2012, soon after the late, great Lawrence Stroman Themselves? – D. Harry (aka DJ Lace) ascended to
Dear D. Harry: In this day of increased danger and lawlessness, it seems as if more and more Christians are turning to firearms in order to protect themselves. Often people who live in rural areas have guns to fend off wild animals. Others such as hunters may possess a gun as a sporting tool. Gun ownership is a personal decision. I will say this, however: followers of Christ should be aware of His teaching in Saint Matthew 26:52 that says all who take (up) the sword shall perish with the sword. If you think that you need a gun for protection, remember that when Paul and Silas were locked in jail, they prayed and sang praises. God dispatched an angel to set them free. Daniel was in the lions' den, yet the Lord protected him there, just as He protected Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fire in the furnace. David testifies of God's ability to keep us from danger in Psalm 139:10, which says God shall hold us in His right hand. Saints of old, who did not carry guns, used to "plead the Blood" whenever in danger. There are many other references in the Bible that speak to this issue. Study the Word, then decide for yourself. Whether or not you carry a gun is up to you. – Dr. Carl
