I recently read that Dr. Billy Graham was once accused of taking the Church in the UK back fifty years. His reply was: ‘well then I have failed, my aim was to take it back 2000 years’! Our hope this year at Gorsley Festival is to look together through Dr. Luke’s eyes at the book of Acts, as he proceeds to pen the story of how Jesus continues to work in and through the life of the early Christians by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Luke makes it clear that the ‘Story of Jesus’ doesn’t finish with Jesus, and God never intended Christianity to become a passive spectator sport. So why not join us in the beautiful Wye Valley as we re-discover the road back to the future – and together get in on ‘action’ through God’s Church today. Looking forward to seeing you
