2007-08 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in seven games in 2007-08 • averaged 0.4 points and 0.6 rebounds per game • scored two points versus Texas in her first NCAA Tournament game • saw her first action of the season versus Hawaii and tallied a point and two rebounds • an Academic All-Big Ten honoree • varsity letterwinner. 2006-07 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Missed most of the season because of a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee suffered against Chicago State • saw action in her third game of the season against Chicago State, recording two steals • tallied a steal and breakaway basket in her first action of the season in the win over Princeton • averaged 5.5 minutes per game in the Gophers’ two exhibition contests, collecting one rebound in each game. HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS: A 2005 graduate of Leo Austin Catholic Secondary School • high school coach was Heather Lafontaine • a two-time All-Providence selection (2004 and 2005) • led her team to LOSSA (Lake Ontario Secondary School Association) championships from 2003-05 • team was undefeated in regular-season league play from 2001 to 2005 • scored the winning layup and 17 points in 74-73 win over Toronto’s Eastern Commerce in 2005 LOSSA title game • averaged a double-double in 2004 (12.5 ppg./10.0 rpg.) and 2005 (15.0 ppg./11.5 rpg.) • named to Toronto Star’s 2004 and 2005 lists of high school players to watch • placed second in the 2005 Durham Regionals Track & Field Championships in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, 2 inches • played her AAU ball for Toronto 5-0 coached by Bet Career Highs Naumovski.
