Grow In Your Faith
from June 2020
by Karen D. Jeffery
The more you grow your faith, the stronger your relationship with God will become. The stronger your relationship is, the more in touch you will be with the one who will lead you to many wonderful places in your everyday Christian walk that you may never have imagined or dreamed you could do. This will become easier, and you will grow in wisdom. The great adventure will begin as you approach the Word of God with reverence, read the Scriptures, and intend to hear the voice of the Lord. He will speak to you through His Holy Word.

Have you ever gone to the Lord in prayer with a broken heart, crying bitter tears and pouring out your soul to Him? By doing this, you learn to put your true trust in Him and Him alone. His compassion will provide you with the trust you need to grow in faith.
Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We, as Christians, must have the desire to come to obedience to the Lord.
What is your current situation? Do you feel as though life is testing you? Has your faith grown weak, or do you feel you have failed the Heavenly Father? “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience” (James 1:3).
We all have to work out our own salvation. This is where we put our faith into action. We have the opportunity to read the Word, pray, and sing praises unto God; this is where we draw our strength. Plus, being a part of a church will help lift our spirits. Keep moving forward in your daily walk with the Lord;
He will always be there to help guide you in the right direction.
Philippians 2:12: “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
Today you can proclaim the victory.
