Connie Hall-Scott wears multiple hats. She’s a writer and author, a business owner, the new Station Manager at North Georgia Television, and the host of a regional television show. Entering its fifth season, “The Talk with Connie!” is a half-hour program broadcast from the WDNN studio in Dalton.

“The Talk is a mix of entertainment featuring human-interest stories, lifestyle segments, and the occasional field piece,” Hall-Scott shared. “Among my lineup of guests, you can find an assortment of newsmakers, authors, spiritual leaders, entertainers, or anyone with a great story, experience, or interesting upcoming event to talk about. The purpose is to highlight the wealth of talent and personality we have right here in north Georgia.”

“I love hosting and producing the show,” HallScott said. “Whether it’s a fun segment like catching up with Ethan Slaughter from Lafayette, the 2022 Country Music Georgia Teen of the Year, or a serious piece such as the ongoing search for Keeslyn Roberts, a young woman from Dalton who was last seen at the Flying J Truck Stop in Resaca. If you missed these episodes, you can view them on “The Talk with Connie!” YouTube channel. I’ll be doing a full feature on Keeslyn Roberts this month, as January 28 marks three years that she has been away from her family. I have followed this case closely and would like nothing more than to see it solved. As for Ethan Slaughter, I’m keeping an eye on his climb up the Country Music ladder. This charming young performer will be one of the contestants on American Idol in February, so I’ll have him back on the show with updates on his grand adventure.”

This season look forward to getting to know more of your neighbors on The Talk. A new episode airs each Sunday at 7 p.m. on WDNN. The show is then replayed on Monday at 11 a.m., Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at 5:30 a.m., Thursday at 11 a.m., Friday at 10:30 a.m., and Saturday at 8 p.m. throughout Whitfield, Murray, Catoosa, Gordon, and Walker counties.

Watch WDNN on Charter/Spectrum, channel 10; Comcast channels 7 and 23; Optilink, channel 10; and Vidlink, channel 10. If you’re watching over the air, tune in to 49.1. Segments from The Talk can also be viewed on “The Talk with Connie!” YouTube channel. Keep up with upcoming show information for “The Talk with Connie!” on Facebook and Instagram.
