THE CALL

Our hope here at GNN is that anyone who picks up a copy of this magazine, would be exposed to the light and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As you’ve read believers’ testimonies, devotions and other articles, we pray that we have shown God’s love, faithfulness and power. God is real and He is working in the lives of those who call upon Him.

The Bible tells us that “God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Because everyone has sinned and has fallen short of God’s glorious standard (Romans 3:23), God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for our forgiveness while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Through God’s free gift of salvation, we are made new, filled and empowered with His Holy Spirit, and have inherited eternal life in Heaven with Him. Life will never be the same again! Jesus came to earth so that we may have and enjoy life more abundantly (John 10:10).

The Bible says in Romans 10:9 that “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you have never made a decision to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour, and want to make your life right with God, pray this prayer out loud: Heavenly Father, I thank you for Jesus, He is the answer I am looking for. Jesus come into my heart today, I surrender my life to you. I admit that I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and gave His life on the cross for my forgiveness. Make me whole and new. I confess You to be my Lord and my Saviour. Help me to live for You all the days of my life. Fill and lead me by Your Spirit. Thank you for this new life and for saving me. This I pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen
