Goochland County Zoning Ordinance. The Comprehensive Plan designates this area for Industrial use. A community meeting was held on May 13, 2014. Fifteen neighboring property owners attended the meeting. Concerns and questions raised included number of truck vehicles per day, environmental concerns, hours of operation, questions regarding height, buffer, and length of permit. a. Appointments b. The property is zoned A-1 (Agricultural, General) and is 45.843 acres. The Conditional Use Permit is required by Article 2, Sections 3.24 of the Goochland County Zoning Ordinance. The Comprehensive Plan designates this area as Rural Enhancement. A community meeting was held on March 15, 2014. Nine people attended the meeting. Concerns were expressed as to the type of equipment and whether hazardous materials were going to be used in the mining process. Concerns were also raised about how the site would look after the mining is complete. • District 4 CU-2014-00006 Application filed by J. Sid del Cardayre for Quarry Hill Estate, LC requesting a Conditional Use Permit on three (3) acres for storage of recycled asphalt chips located at 2100 Quarry Hill Road on a portion of Assessor’s Parcel No. 48-1-0-67-D (GPIN 7737-06-8929). The property is zoned M-2 (Industrial, General). The Conditional Use Permit is required by Article 19, Section 3.5 of the
