Projecto 2 had a cultural centre and housing for academic researchers as its programm. The site was located on the valley surrounded by rua D. Pedro V and the seminar of Vilar. All drawings are handmade. The idea was to fill the empty space near the street as to transition scales from different housing. It is meant for the cultural spaces and plays with a suspended element and programm in platforms. Using the curves and wall of the terrain, the residence appears as two U enclosed by a stone wall. After urban planning, the second project 3 exercise consists on the development of a residential building. The gallery access dwelling was studied in a concrete structure with wood casing and a timber duplex structure in inside concrete boxes. In this project it was important to understand the importance of materials and construction for dwellings, and the different spacialities of the single unit versus the common spaces. Projecto 3 . The fourth year project in FAUP consisted on a nautical centre holding a sports area, a cultural area and housing, located near the river Douro and Freixo bridge, in Porto. The great complexity of the program and the urban chaos limited the project to the simplest shapes. The idea of a big square volume that contains all program and creates a big platform under the street level contrasts with the organic terrain and surroundings. The program is organised in height, each floor containing specific functions, as a structural grid with the patio is designed. Material-wise it was chosen a concrete structure framing the exterior brick walls, so as to give the appearance of a massive brick volume. The new platform allows the boats to be quickly and easily set to the river. Projecto 4 | Project 4 | Projekt 4

The challenge was to create a parametric structure with accessible materials. It was developed a structure crossing two meshes of octagons with covered sides for clamping. O desafio era fazer uma estrutura paramétrica que podesse ser construída com materiais baratos e acessíveis. The exercise consisted on a parametric brick structure. It was developed a wall with a curvy opening. The element can sustain its own weight and be organised in succession to creat a larger wall or installation. The contest looked for an architectonic toy as Barbie’s house, The idea was to create a base with a central vertical element where new vertical and horizontal pannels could be added. _Casa da Barbie | Barbie’s House | Hause von Barbie


The contest looked for an architectonic solution for the site without a specific programme. The idea is a vertical urban centre that offers itself to who arrives t the city and a shedded space to support fairs, _GO! Architecture 2015


SAKÉ Originated from the idea of light associated with such event, divinding the structure in two. The japanese lamp came with the use of PVC on top in contrast with the wooden base. _Barraca da Queima das Fitas 2016


A Green Embrace Shanghai is a city of people that is not thought for people. Our proposal brings together a place for community that relates to the chinese lilong in front, the embrace, and a strong greenery that waves to create an acoustic shell, for the environment and community events. _DocexDoce Competition 2018
