GOLDRUSH MORULA CELEBRATES MABOPANE TOP ACHIEVER AWARDS

MABOPANE TOP ACHIEVER AWARDS The fruits of any labour are usually rewarding and worthy of being celebrated. On the 25th of January this year, we recognised and hailed top achievers from the class of 2017 matriculants, by hosting an award ceremony at Morula. Eleven high schools in Mabopane and surrounding areas that had the best performing grade 11 and 12 pupils, were invited alongside their educators. The event was also made possible by the Eugene Modise Foundation and the Mabopane Network Forum. The two entities also contributed by donating laptops and offering bursaries to the learners. Certificates and trophies were also issued to the achieving learners. Local Councilors and other members from the Mabopane Parliamentary Constituency Office and representatives from the MEC of Gauteng Education - Mr Panyaza Lesufi’s office, graced the event with their presence.
