A Life in Full
Entertainer wows audiences with a trip through his six-plus decades in show business
Las Vegas owes a tremendous debt to Donny Osmond. He’s been part of this city’s entertainment fabric for more than 15 years, both with his equally famous sibling Marie at Flamingo and now with his solo residency (which Osmond just added new dates for, effectively extending it until the end of the year). He packs the house every single night, and it’s not unusual to scan a typical crowd and see all age groups represented. That’s because Osmond’s career spans generations, from his early days with The Osmonds and his TV show with Marie to the later years on Broadway and the not-so-long-ago stint on The Masked Singer
Osmond brings more than 60 years in show business to life in his production, both through music and dancing to audience interaction and state-of-the-art technology. It’s more than a little mind-blowing to see Osmond converse with the young version of himself that set the world on fire with hits like “Puppy Love.” But that’s just the beginning of the fun Osmond has in store.
Yes, you will hear “Puppy Love” for sure. (I’m pretty sure a riot would ensue if that wasn’t part of the proceedings.) But you’ll also hear “Soldier of Love” and a number complete with costumes and choreography. Speaking of which, Osmond proves to be a dancer of many talents. You’ll quick realize why he won his season of Dancing With the Stars as he displays moves that would be impressive for a dancer half his age.
And he raps! Yes, you read that correctly. His “auto-rap-ography,” a nearly 10-minute number in which he blazingly rips through his entire history, is simply mesmerizing.
And to ensure every show is different, Osmond displays his 60plus albums on a big screen and has the audience pick a song for him to perform. Trust us: This is not scripted. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t remember all the lyrics! The spontaneity of this segment is nostalgic, hilarious and exhilarating all at the same time.
Osmond has absolutely lived a life in full, and sharing it with Las Vegas audiences continues to be a special gift. –Ken Miller

Flavor Exploration
This Strip Asian restaurant has all your favorites, plus a few genuine suprises and a fantastic happy hour special
Japanese restaurants really shine in Las Vegas, both on the Strip and throughout the valley. And if you’re looking for one of the best, head to Kusa Nori, where you’ll find everything from specialty rolls, sashimi and nigiri, robata meats and seafood—plus a few added surprises. Start your night off with wagyu beef crispy potato, Jidori chicken karaage or vegetable tempura, all ideal for sharing. Then work your way to a delicious cucumber salad, packed with hearts of palm, heirloom tomatoes, charred avocado, avocado oil, amazu dressing and sesame seeds. This might also be a good time to add on some scallop crudo or shigoku oysters (and these are just for you this time!).
Now onto the sashimi and nigiri! You have your choice of all the classics, from tuna and sweet shrimp to sea urchin and freshwater eel, but if you’re looking for something next-level, put your fate in the hands of the chef with the Kusa sushi or sashimi moriawase; for both, you’ll get 10 selections depending on the chef’s inspiration.
There are standard rolls like shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and eel cucumber, but definitely consider trying the signature rolls here,
especially the Umi Riku roll (made with Black Hawk wagyu tataki, lobster tempura, asparagus, kaiware, cucumber, umami oroshi and hana wasabi) and the 3000 LVBLVD roll (made with yuzu Kewpie snow crab, togarashi tataki salmon, asparagus, yuzu tobiko, micro wasabi and kizami yuzu).
For a real treat, select three, five or seven selections from the robata platter menu, from kurobuta pork belly and Jidori chicken to eggplant and asparagus. The smoky flavors imparted by grilling over hot charcoal will have your eyes rolling up with delight.
For a real treat, try Kusa Nori’s happy hour, available in the bar and lounge from 4-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Enjoy cocktails like the Honeydew List, made with Tito’s vodka, Khee soju 38, cantaloupe syrup, honeydew and lemon, or the Jack & Stone Collins, made with Jack Daniel’s rye, apricot liqueur, orange, lemon and soda water, while noshing on bites like blue fin tuna tartare or ikari salmon handrolls. –Ken Miller
Sample It All!
Downtown steakhouse has added a prix fixe menu option
One of the premier downtown Las Vegas dining destinations has added a wonderful way to sample the wide variety of its menu. Andiamo Steakhouse now offers a $75 prix fixe menu.
Featuring curated courses crafted with seasonal ingredients and classic Italian inspiration, this will surely have customers coming back for more with its terrific price point and variety.
You start with your choice of Caesar salad (a true classic, piled high with anchovies, egg, garlic, lemon, olive oil and Parmigiano-Reggiano), calamari fritti
(served with flash-fried banana peppers and ammoglio), or banana peppers and homemade sausage (served with a rosemary demi glace and potato crisps).
Next, choose three absolute home runs as your entrée: Steak Diane (two 3-ounce filet medallions accompanied by wild mushrooms in a brandy cream sauce, truffle whipped potatoes and grilled asparagus), a 6-ounce grilled salmon (with herb-roasted farro and pistachio pesto), or chicken picatta (two 3-ounce chicken medallions in a lemon caper white butter sauce and served over capellini).
Then there’s your choice of dessert: tiramisu (made with espresso- and Kahlua-dipped lady fingers, mascarpone crème and dark chocolate shavings) or cheesecake (topped with a selection of fresh berries).
And, of course, you can also choose the main menu itself, full of absolute stunners like a lobster pot pie, cauliflower steak, pan-seared sea scallops and salmon alla grillia. No wrong choices here. –Ken Miller

A Month to Remember
Popular magician celebrates 1,000 shows—and a wedding—at her host property this month
This is a huge month for Jen Kramer. In addition to celebrating the 1,000th performance of her show, The Magic of Jen Kramer, she’s getting married! And just like her show, the nuptials will be held at Westgate Las Vegas! Expect the property to celebrate the event on many levels.
Kramer has been a longtime favorite for her family-friendly show and engaging personality. She keeps everything fun, from her interaction with audiences to her public persona. And the saying is really true: Time flies when you’re having fun. It feels like only yesterday she visited Las Vegas for the first time. And her upcoming 1,000th performance arrived as quickly as her 10th anniversary.
“How could I have let a decade go by without throwing a party or something? I don’t know!” she told Las Vegas Magazine. “Missed opportunity there … It’s going to be 10 years from now in no time.”
Kramer was preoccupied with being in the moment at her 5 p.m. Westgate Cabaret shows, where her mix of magic and mentalism constantly creates new fans who line up after shows during meet-andgreets to share their enthusiasm about her signature quick-change trick illusion early in the performance and her new climactic trick.
The latter is the latest creation made possible by maintaining a fertile imagination. “That flow state is so real,” she says. “Sometimes when you’re exploring a different realm of magic like with the new finale that we’re doing in the show—it’s more grand illusion style— your brain starts thinking, ‘How can I apply this idea or that idea?’”
Not that Kramer is going to retire her oeuvre of card tricks, but an evolution into grand illusions would be a natural next step. She’s a veteran of the Strip’s magic scene now. The tricks she brought to Westgate Cabaret are increasingly enhanced by the possibilities she’s able to visualize based on the venue’s dimensions and capabilities.
It’s also the next step in Kramer’s goal of creating human connection through magic. “It’s all about making people feel like they’re 5 years old again, looking through that lens of wonder,” she says. –Las Vegas Magazine Staff

Going Around Again
Group
bring new songs and classic hits to Vegas residency
Whether you were Gen X or millennial, a familiarity with New Kids on the Block is practically a given, with fans following the boy band from its creation in 1984 to the band’s dissolution in 1994, 10 years of wild popularity and hit songs like “Please Don’t Go Girl,” “I’ll Be Loving You Forever,” “Step By Step” and “Tonight.”
And those same fans were aboard as Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie
Wahlberg reunited in 2008, with a No. 1 Billboard Top Pop Albums release of The Block, signifying the power of the group and the nostalgic yearning of its fans. In 2011-’12, a huge tour combining NKOTB and Backstreet Boys became a massive commercial success, with the NKOTBSB Tour lasting more than a year.
Since then, in addition to solo careers, New Kids on the Block has continued pushing with tours and collaborations,
a concert stint in Vegas in 2014, music videos, an eighth studio album, Still Kids, and its first residency in Las Vegas, New Kids on The Block: The Right Stuff, at Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2025. That residency was so popular that it was extended to 2026 for the shows fans are raving about now. Get your tickets and be one of them! –Nina King

The Strip Is Yours
Feel like a true insider with this new app
Navigating the Strip and surrounding areas can be overwhelming. Luckily, the Vegas2Go app, available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, puts an extensive guide to the city right in the palm of your hand.
Simply set up your account and unlock a vast knowledge of the city, including special deals that you may otherwise miss out on. The app is locational, so once you’ve indicated the resort you’re staying at, toggle to the “selected” tab to see all the dining,
shopping, shows and lounges in the property. Then switch to the “nearby” setting to see all the options that are within a walking distance of your temporary digs.
If you have something specific in mind, perhaps a steakhouse dinner or family-friendly fun, use the search function. Use the red drop-down menu to search everywhere (which will populate results from all over the valley), nearby or in your selected property to find what you’re looking
for. And if it’s a one-off show you seek, check the “events” tab for an up-todate calendar of all the acts rolling through town during your stay.
Oh, and those exclusive offers we mentioned? They’re visible on each listing they apply to, so there’s no need to scour the web for ways to save on your Vegas vacay. Find an offer you’d like to use, select the “save” option and access it when you’re ready under the “saved offers” tab in the “more” menu. Enjoy! –Em Jurbala
Sweet Surrender
Enjoy dessertlike cocktails for Valentine’s Day
Sip sweetly with your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, skip the typical, traditional cocktails and indulge in some decadent, over-thetop, dessert-like cocktails. We get you started with a few of our favorite concoctions, all with a chocolatey twist, that will not only give you a buzz from the alcohol but all the sugar, too!
Right outside the behemoth ode to chocolate and candy that is Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York-New York sits The Chocolate Bar. This petite bar serves up big flavors in the form of chocolatey martinis that use various brands of Hershey’s chocolates. One of our faves is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini made with Skrewball peanut butter whiskey, Marie Brizard liqueur, half and half, chocolate and peanut butter sauces, all with a sugar rim and garnished with Reese’s peanut butter cups. Other martinis include recipes that use Hershey’s Kisses and Peppermint Patties; for nonchocolate sips try the Jolly-Tini, made with vodka infused with Jolly Rancher candies. The Chocolate Bar also offers an assortment of specialty martinis that include traditional recipes like the Lemon Drop and originals like Mango Coconut and Strawberry Lemonade.
One of the largest, over-the-top cocktails on our list, nay, in the city, can be found at the Candy Martini Bar. This kinda-hidden gem of a bar can be found at The Linq Promenade on the second
floor of the I Love Sugar candy store. Sit at the bar-in-the-round or take a seat at one of the tables that overlooks the promenade through giant windows and check out the insane menu of giant candy martinis (which all come with fog!). The assortment is outrageous,
and all are stuffed to the brim (literally!) with all types of candy. But death by chocolate in the most-exciting way possible comes from the Sinful City. This behemoth is made with chocolate vodka, crème de cacao liqueur, butterscotch schnapps, almond milk
Sinful City
and chocolate syrup; it’s rimmed with vanilla frosting and crushed Oreos and topped with milk chocolate pretzels, yogurt graham crackers, milk chocolate malt balls and fog. Other giant candy martinis overflow with gummy bears, sour worms, cotton candy, mini chocolate candies, gummy sharks and more. The menu also features candy coffee cocktails (with a chocolate aspect) and a flight of mega sugar shots.
If a thick and creamy dessert cocktail is more your taste, then don’t pass up Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. While the bar and restaurant offers a menu of specialty cocktails, we say turn to the CrazyShake milkshake portion of the menu for the ultimate indulgence. The list of over-the-top
Looking for more dessert-inspired cocktails? Check out these bars and lounges for some great sweet treat cocktails!
CrazyShakes is nonalcoholic, but the best part is you can ask your server to add whatever spirit you’d like, making the all-ages dessert an adult-friendly treat. We suggest adding some whiskey to the Sweet ’N Salty CrazyShake, a peanut butter shake made with a chocolate and peanut butter-frosted rim with M&M’s and topped with peanut butter cups, a Sugar Daddy, pretzel rods, chocolate-covered pretzels, whipped cream and a caramel and chocolate drizzle. Other CrazyShake recipes are so irresistible you might not be able to order just one, so bring more couples or your friends along to order as many as possible. How can one not be tempted by Oreo, strawberry, cake batter, chocolate and caramel shakes topped with all manner of sugary goodness like Fruity Pebbles, sprinkles, chocolate brownies, cookies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, rock candy, whipped cream and even a slice of Funfetti cake … and then you add some vodka, rum or whiskey?! Yes! OK, so do we have you out of your seat and getting ready to leave your room yet? Go out and celebrate and indulge this Valentine’s Day—it’s Vegas, after all. –Kiko Miyasato

Morimoto Las Vegas serves up memorable meals without sacrificing flavor
By Kiko Miyasato
Chef Masaharu Morimoto is famous for his cooking skills when it comes to meat and fish, and the Iron Chef has created a divine Japanese dining destination to show off said skills. But Morimoto Las Vegas at MGM Grand stays at the forefront of food trends by offering vegetarian and vegan alternatives, too, without sacrificing the flavors, creativity and presentations it’s so known for.
Within the newly redesigned space, reminiscent of Japan’s popular night markets,
702.891.3001
guests can dig into a plethora of sea and land delights from steaks, sashimi and specialty rolls to hot and cold appetizers
and teppanyaki. But this story focuses on Morimoto’s veggie delights, a dining experience worth partaking in whether you are a
carnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan.
Start with a cocktail— the Emerald Dragon is both tasty and perfect for

a photo op. It comes out smoking, thanks to dry ice, and poured tableside. The balanced ingredients of peach soju, Midori, yuzu juice, lime juice and yuzu white peach soda is both refreshing and slightly sweet. Another popular specialty cocktail is the Hibis-Kiss, made with Flecha Azul reposado (actor
Mark Wahlberg’s tequila brand), yuzu juice, hibiscus and orange liqueur.
Presentation is one thing Morimoto Las Vegas comes in clutch with, and it starts
with miso tofu tartare. It’s a playful appetizer as you use the little paddle to scoop up the tofu and use the three accompaniments—nori paste, rice cracker balls and Morimoto guacamole—to get various flavors and textures. Finish it off with two types of yamamomo, Japanese mountain peaches (so sweet and delicious) that serve as a palate cleanser for the next dish.
The impressive presentation continues with a sushi veg bento box; this one comes dressed up with a quad of delights. The one bites include a bundle of cooked asparagus, spinach in peanut sauce, a roll with Japanese carrot and a myoga roll, a type of Japanese ginger.
The main attraction, and a definite must-order, is the ishi yaki tofu bop, a signature dish. The ishi yaki yellowtail bop is a dish that won chef Morimoto the title of Iron Chef, recreated here for vegetarians with tofu. (You can order the
dish with pork belly or wagyu as well.) Ishi yaki is a traditional Japanese cooking method of using hot stones to cook the food.
At Morimoto Las Vegas, the traditional hot stones come in the form of a serving bowl heated to 450 degrees and packed with rice, tofu, pickles, carrots, daikon and pickled mustard greens.
The server will mix the dish tableside starting with a dressing of sweet sesame soy. As the ingredients marry, the dish continues to cook inside the heated bowl, giving the flavor more depth. Here’s a helpful tip: We suggest letting the dish sit for a few more minutes before digging in as the heat will crisp up the rice at the bottom, making for a slightly crunchy bite.
End the meal with a refreshing dessert, the caramel apples served alongside a waffle ice cream sandwich, caramel and gold leaf garnish—a perfect end to a vegetarian journey so worth exploring.

Joan Jett & the Blackhearts return to the Strip
By Genevie Durano
When Joan Jett & the Blackhearts arrive at House of Blues Las Vegas this week, the city will be welcoming one of rock’s most enduring forces. The series of shows marks the band’s return to the Mandalay Bay venue following a successful June 2025 run.
Jett grew up during a time when rock ’n’ roll was largely off-limits to girls and women, a reality she rejected almost immediately. As a teenager, she didn’t wait for permission to play loud, aggressive music. Instead, she helped redefine who was allowed to make it. That defiance has fueled a career
spanning more than four decades, eight platinum and gold albums, nine Top 40 singles, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
What makes Jett’s longevity remarkable is the intensity she maintains with her audience. “To me, it’s really about connection: musician eyeballs to audience eyeballs,” Jett has said. “You connect. You see each other… There’s
understanding.” That philosophy remains the backbone of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ live shows, which are high-voltage and intensely personal.
Few artists can open a set with a song that begins with “I don’t give a damn ’bout my reputation” and have it land as both a throwback and a present-day mission statement. “Bad Reputation” still resonates because its sentiment hasn’t aged out, especially in an indus-
try that once rejected Jett outright. After forming the Blackhearts in 1979, she and longtime producer and creative partner Kenny Laguna were turned down by 23 labels before launching Blackheart Records from the trunk of Laguna’s Cadillac. Forty years later, Blackheart has grown into a thriving entertainment company producing mu-
sic, film and television while continuing to champion emerging artists.
As a producer, she helped preserve punk history, overseeing albums by Bikini Kill and producing the Germs’ landmark GI. “We’ve become so conditioned to measuring our music’s impact in dollar signs,” Jett has said, “that we can forget what it’s really about:
emotion, expression, giving a voice to those that aren’t satisfied fitting into whatever box they were given.”
That mindset continues to shape her recent work. Changeup (2022), the
band’s first acoustic album, stripped familiar songs to their emotional core, while 2023’s Mindsets EP offered new material forged by reflection and resilience.
8:30 p.m. Feb. 13-14, 18 and 20-21, starting at $76.50 plus tax and fee. ticketmaster.com
Onstage, the Blackhearts still deliver the hits with ferocity. “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll” ignites the room the moment Jett sings, “I saw him dancing there by the record machine,” while “I Hate Myself for Loving You” offers a sonic catharsis with its instantly recognizable opening. The group continues to tour worldwide, sharing stages with fellow rock icons including The Who, Green Day, Heart, Foo Fighters and Alanis Morissette. The band’s sto -
ry was captured in Bad Reputation, the acclaimed documentary that premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
When Joan Jett & the Blackhearts take the House of Blues stage this month, audiences can expect more than a greatest-hits set. They’ll witness an artist who still believes rock ’n’ roll is about honesty and connection, and who has spent a career proving that rebellion is a lifelong practice.

Dominique Ansel offers French-inspired goodness at two Strip locations
By Genevie Durano
Dominique Ansel’s Las Vegas bakery at Caesars Palace has been a must-stop for pastry lovers since it opened in October 2022, and that’s especially true during this week of love and Valentine’s Day. You step inside, glance at the pastry case and immediately understand that restraint is not expected here.
The Cronut still reigns supreme, of course. The croissant-doughnut hybrid that put Ansel on the map rotates through a new flavor each month exclusive to Las Vegas. Alongside it sits the DKA (Ansel’s take on the kouign amann and the one that wins my heart every time), with caramelized edges that crackle on contact and buttery layers that practically sigh as you bite into them.
Viennoiserie is where Ansel’s French pedigree truly flexes. Croissants are deeply golden. Mini madeleines are an unparalleled bite of pleasure. Even the gluten-free liège waffle, studded with caramelized pearl sugar, is an airy delight. And now, it’s the right time to indulge in red-hued and holiday-themed treats.
If Caesars Palace is Ansel’s jewel box of pastry perfection, then
Dominique Ansel Marché at Paris Las Vegas is something broader and deliberately more communal. Inspired by the sidewalk markets of France, Marché, which opened in 2024, marks an entirely new concept for the James Beard Award-winning pastry chef. The space channels the feeling of an open-air Parisian mar-
ket, with greenery, café-style seating and the hum of activity that makes you want to linger. It’s not just somewhere you pop into between shows; it’s a spot you could reasonably plan
702.731.7865

a meal or a Valentine’s Day meetup with some friends for a leisurely coffee klatch with holiday treats.
The sweet side remains undeniably Dominique. Croissants and viennoiserie are baked fresh each morning as they are at Caesars, sea-
sonal fruit tarts and holiday specials highlight what’s at its best right now, and made-to-order crêpes—both sweet and savory—anchor the experience. Ice cream and other rotating treats round things out, offering just enough temptation to derail even the most disciplined among us.
But Marché expands the conversation with savory offerings. The rotisserie chicken—roasted Amish bird with herb butter, green goddess, charred lemon, and a choice of garlic herb fries or roasted vegetables—reminds you why simple done well never goes out of style. The croque monsieur does what a croque monsieur should: Black Forest ham and melted Gruyère bound by béchamel on house-made sourdough, served warm. It’s simple, satisfying food, the kind you’d happily eat standing up at a market stall or seated with friends.
What makes Marché work is how beautifully it complements the Caesars Palace bakery. One is a concentrated hit of pastry brilliance; the other is an invitation to stay awhile. Together, they show the full range of Ansel’s vision: technically exacting yet playful, rooted in French tradition and laminated with copious butter.
You might still come for the Cronut. That’s fine. But between Caesars Palace and Paris Las Vegas, Ansel has made it clear that the real magic is in creating places you want to return to again and again. Caesars
Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens’ latest display captures the beauty of Lunar New Year By
Nina King
One of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas is the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, where each season and holiday, senior director of horticulture and facilities Ed Libby and the horticultural team create amazing displays. This month, the attraction honors the 2026 Lunar New Year (the Year of the Horse) with multiple vignettes throughout each garden bed. It’s an incredible display with thousands of floral and botanical elements interwoven with sculptural pieces.
“Our vision for this year’s display was to capture the bold, fearless and majestic spirit of the horse while creating an immersive space that inspires optimism and renewal,” said Libby in a news release. “We hope it inspires guests to celebrate the excitement of the season and embrace the good fortune the new year brings.”
That vision starts in the west bed, where three enormous, tiled gold horses with flowing manes gallop in front of you, truly bringing the fire horse to mind. Behind them is a peaceful waterfall and to the side a stately jade pagoda. Overhead, strings of fireworks are ready to ignite and sparkling fireworks shine. Flanking the scene are massive fu dogs, guarding against misfortune and attracting wealth.
In the south bed, you’ll find many elements of Asian culture around a tranquil koi pond. In the foreground, a koi is captured mid-jump, while small children and enormous playful pandas frolic about and a dragon looks on. Overhead, Chinese lanterns and huge flowers hang.
“Designed as a vibrant gathering place, this installation ushers in the new year with energetic artistry, cultural enlightenment and time-honored tradition,” said Libby. That statement certainly applies to this bed, where you’ll find the Garden Table, located in the rear in an elegant tea pavilion with dim lanterns adorning the table. The Garden Table can be reserved, and in honor of Lunar New Year is serving prix fixe lunches and dinners from Noodles, Bellagio’s popular Pan-Asian restaurant, throughout the month ($118.88 per person for lunch, $158.88 per person
for dinner; reservations required. Call 702.693.7075 for more information and to reserve a seat).
Bellagio 702.693.7111
As elaborate as the south and west bed are, there are more vistas to discover in the east and north beds. The north bed has a new, larger-than-life character, Ajla the Cheerful Child, which has been woven from preserved roses and seeds, who juggles coins as she greets visitors.
A traditional new year greeting, “Gung Hay Fat Choy (Wishing You Prosperity)” is spelled out in flower petals, while cherry blossom and mimosa trees bloom all around. And overhead, red and gold lanterns hang. Behind it all, animated fireworks go off while music plays.
The east bed features the god of wealth, Caishen, revered as bestowing prosperity and good fortune. A money tree, gold ingots and shining coins complete the scene around him— surely, he’ll pass his blessings on to you.
Dive into the coquette craze with these specialty cocktails and lounges
By Kiko Miyasato
Viral trends on social media simply cannot be avoided these days—unless you are, wink, wink, anti-social. One of the big trends lately is the “coquette” look and lifestyle—very cutesy, very demure. Think floral, fairy tale, dreamy, charming, feminine, pearls, lace and bowties. So, we decided to lean into it, Vegas-style, and found five hot spots on the Strip where you can indulge and imbibe in the most coquettish fashion.
Perhaps the most coquette of all the spots on the Las Vegas Strip, Café Lola at The Forum Shops at Caesars is a fairy-tale-styled experience in both décor and dining. The menu is overflowing with delicious options—especially
the selection of specialty lattes Café Lola is famous for. Don’t miss the honey lavender latte, Lola’s signature vanilla rose latte and the golden milk latte. Café Lola also offers a cutesy mimosa flight with five flavors, including grape -

fruit, original, blood orange, butterfly tea and strawberry, and white peach. (This is so good you won’t want to put it down!) Desserts and small plates round out the menu, and you can even order tea served in the most darling china. The décor of Café Lola really zeros in on the viral coquette sensation, though. The
space is filled to the brim with flowers and floral walls, pink running through every furnishing and textile throughout the space, gold flower designs on beverage items and food and drinks made in the cutest presentations. Feminine and frilly, Café Lola is the ideal spot to celebrate the coquette craze.

Have you stepped inside a cute cottage set in the French countryside? You'll feel like you have at Primrose, a restaurant and bar with charming décor filled with coquette touches. Take a seat inside the lounge area and order the beautiful, purple-hued Lavender Sgroppino, a mix of Absolut Elyx vodka, lavender syrup, prosecco, crème de violette and a scoop of lemon sorbet that sends the cocktail’s flavor over the top. The lounge is styled with a mock fireplace lit with candles and petite tables and high-back lounge chairs covered in floral-patterned fabrics—yes, the perfect cutesy background for your coquettish photos. New to Primrose and perfect to pair with your specialty cocktails is the weekend brunch. The Saturday and Sunday prix fixe offering includes li'l dishes of tea sandwiches, mini Danish, artisanal meat and cheeses, seasonal jams, fresh fruits and larger options like the decadent crème brûlée French toast.

If you're a fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you’ll know that Lisa Vanderpump lives in a coquette world—just check out her stunning home. She’s brought that aesthetic to her first Las Vegas venture—she and her husband are longtime restaurateurs—Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, which opened in 2019. The lounge is draped in flowers, foliage and twinkling lights. Floral patterns and textiles fill in the space, and its vibe is secret garden realness. The menu is packed with cocktails and light bites, but for that extra-special coquette photo, order the Vanderpump Margarita, made with tequila, fresh lime, hibiscus, white peach and orange liqueur. Pair it with the Vanderpump Rosé Cake, a cutesy li'l pink cake built for two made of rosé-infused sponge cake and a to-die-for strawberry buttercream. For extra snapshots, order a bottle of Lisa’s own Vanderpump Rosé, a beautiful bottling with a floral and gold design with the blush-colored vintage shining through.
Caesars Palace | 702.731.7867
The Vanderpumps continue to spread their distinctive brand across the city, with the opening of their second lounge in 2022, Vanderpump à Paris. (Fans of the Vanderpump aesthetic will
be happy to know the family has opened a third spot at Flamingo). Vanderpump à Paris’ decor evokes images of lovers, romance, candlelit corners and cozy date nights—all draped in flowers, ribbons,
soft textures and beautiful furnishings. To continue the romantic coquette adventure, order the perfectly fitting cocktail, Lock Locked. Mixed with Workdog gin, velvet falernum, raspberry, lemon, hibiscus, pomegranate and aquafaba, it comes in two glasses to share with your lover, as well as a lock, key and marker that guests can use to write their initials on the lock and add to the wall of locks at the entrance. Besides a menu packed with French-inspired cuisine, we highly suggest ordering the Grande Sélection to close your experience at Vanderpump à Paris. Your Instagram post of this dessert is perfect for that coquette hashtag and will have viewers envious (and hungry). It features three of the menu’s desserts, Le Grand Puff, Crème Brûlée Beignets and Mousse Au Chocolat Bites, all served on a grand platter.

area. A multilevel tower of sumptuous goodies includes signature scones with clotted cream and seasonal jam, tea sandwiches like egg salad and jamón Ibérico, and French pastries such as the spiked lemon tartelette and raspberry macarons. Beautifully designed pots are filled with tea and served alongside the treats, as well as specialty cocktails like the favorite Lavender Basil Lemon Drop with Belvedere organic lemon basil vodka, St-Germain, lavender essence and a divine basil-sugar rim. To step up the tea service, guests can opt for the caviar afternoon tea as well. The complete tea setup and signature specialty cocktails make for a heavenly coquette afternoon, made even more on theme thanks to Petrossian Bar’s location— near the flower-filled, always whimsically-themed Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden.
What could be more fashionably coquette than afternoon tea? Petrossian Bar at Bellagio—a longtime favorite of locals and tourists alike— has offered the traditional European custom for more
than two decades. Available every Friday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m., guests can tuck into the front of Petrossian, where a pianist plays beautiful music, or choose a table in the back lounge

There’s lots of fright to go around at Universal Horror Unleashed
By Em Jurbala
I went through Universal Horror Unleashed alone, and it was … well, horrifying in the best way possible.
If you haven’t yet heard, the otherworldly entertainment district, AREA15, recently unveiled its Zone 2 expansion, which came with an immersive horror experience like none other. I’m talking about four haunted-house experiences, a live show, roaming scare actors and plenty of bites and bevs to round out the experience.
As soon as you cross the threshold into the main area, the vibes are spooky. It’s like a pumpkin patch, but in a nightmare. It won’t be long until you encounter a creepy character, as there are so many fright actors wandering around and they’re very talented at sneaking up on people when they least expect it, especially the girl with the stabby knife.
There’s no way to say which house is definitively the scariest, but The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is easily the most popular house, judged by its much longer line. Because of that, even if you are a solo spook seeker, you’ll likely get placed with a group to keep the wait time low for everyone else. (For the record, this didn’t reduce the scare factor at all.)
The TCM house is very smart in its design. There are a lot of places for unexpected frights to pop out from, but also plenty
of lull moments, creating tons of suspense. As with any haunted walk-through, there’s a chance you’ll catch up to the group in front of you, but here the people in front of you don’t get scared the same way you do. If you catch an actor scaring someone 10 feet in front of you, that actor doesn’t

Universal Monsters
pop out of the same hole to scare you; they either find a new spot or a whole other person you didn’t previously see comes out of a different dark corner.
After escaping what felt like near death, I had to check out the Scarecrow: The Reaping house. The entrance is so atmospheric, immediately teleporting guests to an eerie Dust Bowl-era farm. This house sends guests through multiple dark and smoky rooms that put you on edge, just to lead to a very disorienting corn maze filled with frightening creatures. And what makes this house so much more unnerving is the various props hung from the ceiling that you end up brushing into and thinking something (or someone) is touching you.
The Exorcist: Believer and the Universal Monsters houses are the ones that really perfect the cinema fan experi-
ence. Monsters features all of the classic Universal monsters, from vampires to mummies and all the undead in between, and The Exorcist feels like you’ve just walked into the movie itself.
Find something to enjoy at the food and bev stands. And if you hang around long enough, a demented clown duo and their evil posse may interrupt to hold somewhat of a competition.
If you’re exceptionally lucky, you’ll be selected for the crowd participation portion of the show, which promises a front row seat to all the madness that’s about to ensue.

The Neon Museum’s latest addition is a must-see
By Em Jurbala Photography by Christopher DeVargas
It’s always a good time to visit the Neon Museum and explore Las Vegas’ fascinating history through its signage, and if you haven’t been for a while, there’s an exceptionally good reason to revisit—the historical hot spot relit the Dunes Hotel & Casino sign, a piece of artwork that represents the first major Strip property to leave us by implosion. Talk about a trendsetter!
This restoration was no easy feat. In fact, our friends at the Neon Museum said it looked like the sign itself had come straight from the wreckage when they acquired it. That’s where Jesse Hartlauer and his company, Hartlauer Signs, come in. They make all kinds of displays, from the road signs you see
to the directional signage that helps visitors navigate casino floors, but by far the most intriguing area of the workshop (and one Hartlauer clearly feels passionately about) is the neon workshop.
“The new styles are really modern and really basic and standard colors, where the old signs were fun,” Hartlauer says. “They were colorful with neon all over them. They flashed, they just came alive when you looked at them. I prefer the old ones, myself, a little bit. The craftsmanship and everything along with it is a part of our history.”
The sign that was relit is a 10-foot entrance sign from the property. It mirrors the shape and style of The Dunes Hotel and Casino’s grand, 150-foot neon
sign, but actually doesn’t feature any neon. It’s lit by three internal lighting units to create a backlighting effect and about 100 candelabra lights that flash to create the classic sparkling effect many marquees have.
“When we take these signs down, usually we’re not thinking of Neon Museums and stuff like that,” Hartlauer says. “They hook a crane on it and sling it out of there. Throw it on a truck, lay it on its face, and take it to the back of the yard. It sits around for years until somebody realizes that it’s got a home and we can bring it back to life again.”
The metal structure is entirely original and had all of its bumps and bruises tapped out by Hartlauer’s crew before
being repainted. It would be logical to assume then comes the struggle of trying to fix the electrical components that made the sign shine, but in reality 95 percent of the original sockets were in working condition before restoration. The real struggle came when trying to refurbish the rich orange bottom half of the sign, which needed to be replicated and installed.
Remarkably, this isn’t the first run-in Hartlauer has had with the Dunes signage. His company, which opened in Vegas more than 30 years ago, frequently repaired the massive main sign that greeted people as they came to town.
“When I moved to this town in 1979, off the I-15, there was an exit called Flamingo Dunes, and when you got off there, it didn’t go west. It only went east to the Strip. And that was one of the first things you’d see when you came into town and you got onto the Strip …
The Dunes was always intriguing, you know, kind of a fun hotel. It always had a lot of action going.”
