Comparative Energy Yield Program North America’s First Energy-Yield Bankability Program Photovoltaic modules must undergo qualification certification to enter the market. This qualification ensures that basic safety and reliability testing standards are met but does not provide information on real-world operational performance. How will these modules perform in the field, under real-world conditions? The Comparative Energy Yield program offers real-world, outdoor monitoring of small PV arrays to compare actual module operational performance in various environmental conditions. This first of its kind program is a partnership between three module test labs—PV Evolution Labs, TÜV Rheinland Photovoltaic Testing Lab, and Celestica—and the leading renewable energy news and content source, Greentech Media.
