The endless opportunities I see around me to make a difference in others’ lives are my VISION for change. Giving back what was given to me just makes sense; so I CONNECT with others to strengthen my efforts and expand my resources. Together we are diverse, committed and generous.
TO MAKE AN IMPACT Together we make an IMPACT.
IS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OTHERS' OTHERS LIVES THROUGH CHRIST.
A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR For seven years Impact Church has peered through windows of opportunity that seemed impossible for us to attain. As we celebrate the opening of our first permanent space, we do so with more than a sense of accomplishment. We rejoice knowing that God has even more amazing dreams to fulfill through us along this faith journey. More than challenging, our path to this time in the life of Impact has been incredibly exciting and rewarding. 2323 Sylvan Road is more than just a building; it is a place where even more lives can be changed in ways beyond what we’ve ever imagined.
Impactor [noun]: A member or attendee. One who sparks change through Christ.
So, thank you for your love, prayers and dedication to the vision and work of Impact Church. We could not have made it to this point without you and God. Many people have asked me, “Olu, what do you need? How can we help you celebrate?” My answer is the same as it was in 2007. Continue to pray for us. Hold us in your hearts. Join us for our worship experiences, connection groups, community outreach events, and generously share your financial support. With all of that and our faith in God, Impact will continue to do church differently, help change the world and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Celebrating with you, Olu
I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I AM AN IMPACTOR. I RENEW MY CONNECTION TO GOD AND OTHERS. Impacting the world can seem daunting, impossible to achieve. Yet we’ve learned, without a doubt, that with God, all things are possible. With God, we are water-walkers, and many of our accomplishments defy logic and laws of nature. A-MAZING! This is how we know we can make a difference in the world—we’ve seen it over and over and over again. From two successful mission trips to Haiti to over $50K given in scholarship money through Impact Give Back to connecting with thousands of people through Connection Groups—walking the growth journey with this church proves that linking our individual dreams will always have an incredible impact on our community. People’s lives are literally changed before our eyes, and for that, we are extremely honored, humbled and grateful. During Renew | The Celebration Experience, Impact Church rekindles its vision, expanding its capacity to inspire us all to reconnect with God and to feel God’s influence in and on our lives. As a result, people will grow in the confidence that they are an integral part of making an impact in the world around us. More than an event, this experience is a pathway toward transformation shared by Impactors from across diverse cultures, groups and disciplines. What connects us is the knowledge that focused, dedicated action produces incredible results. The effect is awesome. With this community of believers, we know each moment builds on the last, creating an amazing journey of discovery. Prepare to learn, grow and renew.
we welcome you

The greatest expression of our faith that we can communicate is love. Love is the essence of God, the core feature of God’s character. Through this love and the influence it has on our lives, we at Impact Church renew our faith and enthusiasm for sharing God’s gift of love with the world. Sharing love is in everything we do. I Corinthians 13:13 “Now faith, hope, and love remain—these three things—and the greatest of these is love.” Sometimes our confidence waivers and doubt creeps into our lives, shaking our faith from time to time. God’s love helps us deal with these moments. connections REVEALED: THREE SIMPLE QUESTIONS IMPACT CHURCH-WIDE STUDY Three Simple Questions by Bishop Reuben P. Job Who is God? Who Am I? Who Are We Together?
Three Simple Questions is the theme of the church-wide experience in spiritual growth and development to be held in June 2014. It is also an introductory experience for persons who are new to Impact Church and who live in the surrounding community. We ask each Impact attendee to participate in this church-wide initiative by coming to worship, participating in the Spiritual Growth Journey and attending one of the three-day small group experiences. This exploration invites participants to examine what faith means to them and what they believe about God, themselves and their community. We will consider these questions in a fun, interactive and open environment where everyone and all philosophies are welcome, free of judgment. This group is appropriate for life-long churchgoers as well as persons who don’t believe in organized religion and everyone in between. Feel free to invite your friends, neighbors and family members; you do not have to attend or be a member of Impact Church to participate. We cannot promise that we will have the final answers to these questions when we complete the group, but we will have a great time learning and discovering together.
Registration begins Sunday, May 25 after each worship experience. Participants may also sign up online at: www.impactdcd.org. Session dates: Sunday, June 22, 29 and July 6, and Wednesday, June 18, 25 and July 2 Sessions will occur after worship experiences, online and throughout the East Point and Atlanta communities.
