1. SUMMERLEAZE, BUDE Budeâ€™s town beach allows dogs on leads all year round and is just five minutes walk from the town centre. Lovely beach cafes and there are even dog friendly beach huts to hire for the day.
3. TREBARWITH STRAND This beach near Tintagel is best at low tide when sands are revealed as it is simply rocky at high tide. Dog friendly lunch: The Strand Cafe allows dogs outside and offers take away snacks, cakes and drinks from Easter until the end of September. 4 . There are toilets, cafe & seasonal lifeguards. A lovely spot for a family day out with your dog.

31. GILLAN COVE Opposite St Antony in Meneage and accessible via the South West Coast Path if you wade across from St Anthony at low tide, or catch the ferr y at high tide, is Gillan Cove. This is a lovely sandy beach set where the creek meets the sea. A surprisingly good place for celeb spotting!
