Auctions are held every first and third Tuesday of every month. The gates open at 9:30 a.m. for preview, and the auction begins at 11:00 a.m. A bid card can be obtained for $100 cash deposit and valid photo ID. If you do not purchase a vehicle your deposit is refunded at the conclusion of the auction or it may be applied to the purchase price. All purchases can be made with cash, check or credit card. All notary work must be completed the same day and all notary fees are cash only. The vehicle must be removed from Goodwill premises by 3:30 PM on auction day. As of January 8, 2012, they no longer issue In transit Tags. Only valid photo ID from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland will be accepted. Aspite Auto Auction in Pennsylvania is the most experienced auto salvage business in Philadelphia, and that’s why every major city department in Philadelphia selects Aspite Auto and Salvage to auction their surplus vehicles and heavy equipment. From the Philadelphia Gas Works to the Parking Authority to the Philadelphia Police Department, they all know that dealing with Aspite will be fast, fair, and friendly. Because Aspite is a family-owned and not a corporate-run business, they take time with each vehicle, whether it’s a car, truck, or heavy equipment. Every vehicle, whether repossessed, damaged, donated or seized receives the same thorough inspection and honest evaluation.
