Mariah Theilen, 13, of Mason City, was chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Iowa Pageant to be held April 13-14, at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo. She is the daughter of Michelle Case, of Mason City, and Paul Theilen, of Fertile. The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18, and have five different age divisions. Mariah will be participating in the junior teen age division. Her activities include volleyball, dance and gymnastics. She also enjoys modeling and photography.
