DES MOINES — Lindsay Momberg and Adam Carper were united in marriage on June 2, 2012, at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church in Des Moines, with Pastor Hutton officiating the wedding services. Lindsay is the daughter of Mari and Mike Momberg of Manly. Her grandparents are Gene and Betty Rosenberg of St. Ansgar, and Joanna Momberg and the late Floyd Momberg of Upland, Calif. Adam Carper is the son of Joelene and David Carper of Clarinda. His grandparents are Doriene and the late Deane Gustafson and the late Elton and Donna Carper. Maid of honor and attendants were Ciara Lovik Bal, Carly Schwartz Engels, Mandie Bird, Jessica Carper, Katie Carper, Heather Balsimo and Jessica McCoid. Best man and groomsmen were Chris Williams, Eddie Lisle, Ben Hansen, Ragan Pullen, Derek Sunderman, Landon Momberg and Jeremy Havener. Ushers were Caleb Berg and Anthony Schaner. The music was performed by the White Dove String Quartet from the Des Moines Symphony. The reception was held at Zart in Des Moines. Hosts and hostesses were Sherri and Mike Hughes, Del and Cindy Gustafson. Lindsay is a graduate of Iowa State University and is currently enrolled in Drake University to obtain her MBA. She is employed by Wells Fargo as a financial consultant. Adam is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a CPA for McGladrey. The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and make their home in West Des Moines.
DUBUQUE — Jill Staudt and Carl McCarden Jr. were united in marriage on Sept. 9, 2012, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Dubuque by Deacon Bill Biver. Jill is the daughter of Patty and Dennis Staudt of Marble Rock. Carl’s parents are Dr. Ardie Dial, Anniston, Ala., and Carl McCarden Sr., San Francisco, Calif. Maid of honor was Ann Staudt, sister of the bride. Best men were Ariel Rivera Jr., brother of the groom, and Arthur Dial Jr., uncle of the groom. Jill is employed by Marymount University of Arlington, Va. Carl is employed by GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services of Bethesda, Md. The couple will reside in Washington, D.C.

Shealyn graduated from Mason City High School in 2009, and is a current student in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at North Iowa Area Community College. BRENDAN THOMPSON, of Mason City, is the son of Lori Thompson, Mason City, and Mark Thompson, Canberra, Australia. Brendan graduated from Newman in 2008, and from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012 with a BA in Marketing/Advertising. The couple will be married on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City.
