Happy Birthday Gog! I heard of Scott before actually meeting him. We became good friends in tenth grade, his personality and the way he carried himself drew us to him. He was one of the best divers to ever come from Mason City. He was an iron worker in 12th grade and continued until the day God called him home. While living in the Twin Cities, Scott discovered Punk Rock music and turned us all on to this music we had never heard before. Scott loved music, his Mach 1, motorcycles and pretty women. Scott and I rode my Harley to graduation in 1977 with our gowns flying behind us. We did it in style! While rooming together we would mow a boxing ring in the yard, add a keg and the matches were on! When the movie “The Warriors” was released we had a tribute party and Scott painted “The Warriors” across the front door. I’m sure many in Mason City still remember that night! Scott had many friends across the U.S. but his best buddies included: Clarence “C.W.” Walker, Tim Tyler, Bob Gomez, Greg “Mad Dog” Reed and myself, as well as many others. You will be missed my brother. We will see you on the other side, God’s side. March 26th Still looking good in the 50 neighborhood!! Have an awesome day! Love, The Ridder Gang, Monica, Randy, Sylvia & Sonja
