Elkem to Exhibit at Metal China 2018 埃肯将参展Metal China 2018 Elkem China has announced it will exhibit at Metal China 2018, which will be held May 16–19 in Beijing, China. Elkem will exhibit in booth E1N16, showcasing its latest technology solutions for metal treatment in iron foundries based on high quality MgFeSi and inoculants. Some of this information includes: • The new Elkem production plant in Ningxia is a stateof-the-art facility which produces MgFeSi alloys of high quality and in specifications designed especially for the China market. • Ultraseed® Bi inoculant that is more potent than conventional ferrosilicon based inoculants, gives high nodule count, has powerful chill reduction and reduces shrinkage tendency more than other inoculants. • Superseed® L inoculant that is extremely effective for grey iron casting and promotes less shrinkage. The product has a low melting point and is therefore good for low pouring temperature situations. Superseed is well known as a clean inoculant with absolute minimum of reactive elements. Visitors are invited to visit the booth to brainstorm ideas for their next foundry projects and hold discussions with members of Elkem’s Global Technical Service Team who will be available during the exhibition. Victaulic to Build New Facility Victaulic公司将建新厂 AFS Corporate Member Victaulic (Easton, Pennsylvania), a manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining solutions, has unveiled a plan to build an additional state-of-the-art manufacturing center in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
