JEAN-PIERRE POISSON | FRANCE

www.jeanpierre-poisson.com

Having also been a jazz pianist, Jean-Pierre Poisson uses improvisation in the same way for his paintings: harmony of colours instead of sounds, with total freedom of creation. His artistic language is very personal. He contrasts transparency with layers, and he uses a wide range of colours where black, in spots or in broad trails, intensifies the other colours. He lives in France.

JEFF MURRAY | UNITED KINGDOM www.jeffmurray.co.uk

When you stare deep into something, it can sometimes stare deep back into you. I create intricate artworks using pen and ink, inspired from travel, nature and urban landscapes. Including a series of country and continents, surreal animals and abstract cityscapes, these works show my journey throughout life. I invite my viewers to ‘Look Closer’ so that they can see more and more each time the gaze into them.
