JATIN KHAN | TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO (CARIBBEAN) jatinkhanart@gmail.com

The art that I create, aims to focus on the fundamental commonality of all humanity, specifically emotion, evolution and ascension. It simultaneously aims to transcend all concepts of regionalism, stereotype herd culture, and societal programming. There is a unique unrepeatable quality to each work. The imagery tends to unfold in duality i.e the complete picture with its primary impact, and the emergence of various minute elements which compound upon the primary impact. Each work is a different experience in itself aimed at evoking pure emotion and carries its own unique energy signature. And all works are created simply for the sheer joy of creation.

For me photography is the way to look inside both for the author and the spectator.

My work is utterly for fun and is therefore full of joy! Each canvas or street art contains a door open to multiple interpretations. My canvas becomes the medium for full and free imagination. In the same vein, I use a mixed technique to avoid being forced into my work. Applying layers with anything that I can get my hands on, spray paint, wax pencils, china markers.... The brain is a muscle and an immense playground that asks only to be used.

Each Kosmotronik develops and materializes during the building phase, Harry never uses a drawing nor does he plan his objects beforehand, they evolve during the construction phase until the Kosmotronik is ready. For Harry, building a Kosmotronik is an adventure from start to finish.

I´m a self-taught painter. As mostly naïve painters, I´m always learning while I go on painting my work. The main reference I had was Pere Torné-Esquius (1879 – 1936), specially his eleven paintings about childhood that had decorated a child’s room. They caught my attention in a special way because of being dedicated to childhood. What I liked the most was that child and adult could gather to observe the paintings enjoyably. I try to get a kind of art that can be equally attractive to both child and adult. I would like to achieve an art for all ages.

YUANCHI | TAIWAN http://yuanchi.myportfolio.com

YuanChi, illustrator from Taiwan. Artworks include picture books and commercial illustrations. Since majored classic art in college, love using watercolor to create paintings instead of digital materials. Had 6 pictured books published since 2017, and have won several international illustration awards like CA, 3x3, Global Art Awards etc. The artworks or stories often had a discussion of public issues, wish I could share my thoughts with people by those cute and harmless illustrations.

YUIKO | JAPAN yuikoamano.co.uk

A core concept in my art works is ’mirage’, it is can be said as ’fake utopia’, and actually, it has a lot of issues. I am sculpting a dystopian scenery of inside of the ’delusional sphere’ (A representation of the mirage, which is defined as an invisible and intangible or unseen element). The sphere includes imperialistic feudal society, the various hierarchy systems are embodied in the form of quadrangular pyramids. Also, I am an actor of that fake documentary, and reflect social issues of legacy of imperialism, from a perspective of Japanese female.
