Oil Painting (2014) Canvas Board, 70 X 50 Cm Cycle on the Aspects of Ecstasy. For the last six years he has been working on the aspects of the Sacred Ecstasy (Including studies, sketches and finished paintings - he has about 90 pieces). He takes as reference, paintings by European painters of the 1600’s and, in some cases Italian sculptures. From this research, he chooses the most aesthetically interesting picture details and then paints with his contemporary interpretation. Since his time at university as a medical-psychological student, the Ecstasy were always an object of study. He continues today in his academic studies. In particular, in the context of the ECSTASY of 1549, we can highlight some particular points in common with all his work done so far: 1) change of the current state of the body (the Ecstasy is a state of mind, but also a transformation of the body); 2) in 90% of studied European paintings of the 1600’s, The Ecstasy were always accompanied by an angel (With the angel in the background); 3) Light Eye: Is an external light that is reflected in the eye, or shines from their eyes, because the subject is in an ecstatic state of the body? 4) The face is almost always turned to the left. Paola De Pascale was born in Naples in 1968; she lives in Rome since 1994. Photographer, illustrator, she collaborated with Roma, Editori Riuniti, Newton Compton Edizioni Poligrafico dello Stato. ANGELIKA KAHL I GERMANY
My pictures are divided by the horizon. The sky is great and wide, the landscapes are smaller with exact details. In the last years my works got even more open space and less details. But there is still the confrontation of free space (sky and water) and exactness (landscape, lighthouses, sailing boats) This contrast increases the tension and give an impression of freedom and restriction at the same time.

BEA PALATINUS ABSTRACT ART I HUNGARY www.beapalatinus.com | email@example.com
Painting to me has always been a journey, a venture into experimenting and learning. I usually begin with no or very little concept in mind and just let the painting evolve on its own, as the details and the forming composition determine the very next move. The paintings are in oil on canvas stretched on a wooden frame, ready to be placed on wall. Sides are painted in matching color.

CHATHURANGA BIYAGAMA I SRI LANKA
http://chathurangabiyagama.blogspot.com | firstname.lastname@example.org
I use the power of the colors to express my thoughts and feelings in painting. Through the palette knife I create layers of colors to make the final output of my painting. I use only palette knife in painting because it gives me a challenge rather than painting in a paint brush. I always want to create paintings which will develop the thinking capacity & mind of the viewers. So far I have been succeeded in creating paintings with multiple views & thoughts. In Sri Lanka, where the Contemporary arts are not famous and no future in this field, I try my own path to take my inborn talent, and my own Art style to the outer world and to show the world that there are people in the far corners of this Earth who need the attention & support to develop their inborn talents whom not yet recognized by the world properly. I use oil colors as I like the freedom of the material.

Born in 1983 in Italy, I now live and work in London. Memories,a piece of music or the simple observation of someone else’s life can trigger a visual journey, often translating into surrealistic, unsettling and yet familiar scenarios. I am drawn to dark atmospheres contrasting with bold colours, always flirting with beauty, darkness and discomfort. The solitary relationship I share with the canvas is a necessity that allows me to create with no boundaries.

JACOPO BERNE’ I ITALY email@example.com
I live and work in Milan. I started out by going to art school where I received training in various painting and representation techniques which brought out my creative drive. My art isn’t about creating images inspired by visual reality but rather forms that arise each time in my mind as an expression of a momentary creative impulse, taking shape in a free and balanced composition. I create paintings by applying acrylic colours onto canvas using a technique that combines material action painting with the use of flat bands to craft geometric forms. In the photos my hands are both the medium and the work of art. After having applied the acrylic colour uniformly so it covers the entire hand I apply further, thicker layers which I dab with a paintbrush and photograph before they solidify. La Strada

The paintings are dealing with stories of migration, travel, crossing borders. They often collide binaries such as wilderness/culture and interior/exterior. The work is as much about living in the space between two landscapes as it is about either place.

MINU I AUSTRIA
My work tends to focus on people in action. Life is action and without action life does not take place. That’s why I describe movements of body and soul by using intense colors. I create a relationship between colors, the chosen passion as well as the subject. Most paintings are made on canvas with acrylic colors, applied in different ways to produce a transparent or opaque effect.

It’s all about capturing what the eye cannot see, but what the mind knows is there! When I paint, it’s not so much about the subject matter. It’s about movement, the movement that is always there. I want to capture that movement, show it through lines and colours, express how it changes and influences the energy that is always surrounding us.

Pernille is a UK based international artist, working project to project on a multidiscipline basis. Primarily investigating peripheral gaze, movement and the glances and glimmers of life, those facets which often go unseen. Since successfully completing an MFA in 2014 her focus centres more upon the forces we encounter; those that imply forms of movement, but which aren’t necessarily visible; such as the tangible pressures and forces we feel in our daily lives. Her current research is enforcing these streams of interest and is focused upon Mindfulness, Eastern Aesthetics, the Slow Movement and the Neurosciences. Currently working on a number of projects, each feeding the next. Including the Pressure Project, which you see examples of here. These investigate the viscerally felt pressures upon us both internally and externally. Her works are held in both public and private collections in the UK, Denmark, Canada and Austria. As a portrait artist, I get my inspiration from humanity, fantasy, male and female beauty and the different concepts that exists of it. I like to create different characters for my potraits, give them emoitions, a life story, and in a way, a soul. It could be an existing model, a creation or a mixture of both, always with the idea of finding perfection in every flaw.
RAZVAN STANCIU I ROMANIA
Motivated by the criticism of contemporary society, my personal artistic approach is based on a sequence of elements and facts that bring forth a manifestation of protester type, with the addition of caustic accents of anger, nonconformistic, which refer to a selfcontrol almost nonexistent of contemporary civilization, describing a bleak future, tormented by past generations selfishness.

ROBERT OSEI ANIM I GHANA
I don’t also believe an artist painting or making creation in one area, because what you see today is different from what you see tomorrow, painting must be all way round that makes nature natural. It not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.
