Friday Night Guns 2 Roses have been playing together since 2002. These guys are the NO 1 GNR tribute in the country. Approved by various members of Guns N Roses they even have the original GNR drummer Steven Adler playing with them from time to time! They have played to thousands throughout the UK, Europe and USA and this year played the North Pier at the Matthew Street Festival in Liverpool in front of 25'000 people! Hailing from London these guys have played the same London clubs and venues that GNR did in the 80s from the Marquee Club to the Mean Fiddler and Hard Rock Cafe in After GB06 we had to Hyde Park. have G2R back. Since

t g e y s y m e e

then they've sold out the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool 2 nights in a row as well as many other venues and theatres that they have played nationwide. Totally focused on not only cloning the sound of GNR better than the rest Guns 2 Roses are also mirror images to Axl and the boys, with stage performances down to the last detail. Playing many songs from Appetite For Destruction, GNR Lies and Use Your Illusion I and II and even the Spaghetti Incident! Guns 2 Roses sometimes even throw in the songs that GNR did live that never made it to an album to keep with the GNR spirit. G2R are the headline act on Friday Night and are definately not to be missed, and appear exclusively to weekend ticket holders.

Tribute Hours before the ‘Ded Hot Chili Peppers’ take to the stage, there is already a crowd gathered, anticipating another storming performance from them. It is not hard to understand why they are so popular. The Ded Hots are four terrific showmen, who throw a tremendous amount of style and energy into a set that is comprised of all the Chillis Greatest Hits. The band is spot on in terms of musicality, yet it is their stage presence that truly causes them to shine. Their bassist, Pete, with his Mohican haircut and skeleton costume recreates the manic presence and of Flea. Their singer also matches the smooth Californian tone of Anthony’s voice, and he imitates him to near-perfection. These guys have got to be the best Chilli tribute and whether you are a fan or not, they offer great high-energy entertainment. Teen Spirit - The Ultimate Nirvana Tribute. The band have been touring the UK and Europe for thirteen years now. 2004 saw their 10th anniversary, which also coincided with the 10th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death, who died on April 5th 1994. The band have been acclaimed as one of the most authentic tribute bands ever, by venues and promoters worldwide as well as magazines such as Kerrang and Metal Hammer. You don't just have to be a Nirvana fan to enjoy a Teen Spirit show. Although the band play a Greatest Hits set, they cover songs from Nirvana's complete back catalogue. Due to their energy and showmanship Teen Spirit appeal to fans of British punk, American punk, nu-metal and classic rock alike.

Tribute Since the early days of Definitely Maybe, the number one selling debut album from Oasis, the whole world has been made to sit up and listen. This album alone changed the face of not only the British music scene, but the world over. Oasish have now fine tuned their show so much so, that fans are now hailing them as being better than the real thing. Unlike other Oasis tributes, Oasish are a full 5 piece band and also play every single song note for note as it is on all of the albums. They have the look, the sound and most of all the ability to make any venue rock to the sounds of one of the most influential bands in history. As one fan said, "Oasish were far more entertaining than the real thing on the 2 occasions I have seen them...I’d watch Oasish everytime! We couldn't let the festival pass without tipping the hat to the 30yr anniversary of all things 'Punk Rock', and who better to represent this than the worlds leading tribute to the grandaddy of them all - the 'Sex Pistols Experience'! A hugely popular show band on the U.K's live circuit for the last 6yrs, they are also regulars on the European festival scene. Last year saw the bands reputation spread even further oversea's with three & a half months of tours around the U.S.A. Gaining approval by the Sex pistols themselves having played live with Guitarist Steve Jones in Los Angeles they have spent a long time perfecting the look & sound, down to every last detail. So alike are they, that the band have been hired several times by T.V companies to act as the Pistols, with appearances for the BBC, SKY T.V, Ch4 & Fox Rocks in the U.S.

Tribute Music from Atom Heart Mother, Live At Pompeii, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall is performed in its entirety – with no short cuts or dificult sections left out. Back Projection, oil wheels, slides and effects, along with original vintage equipment and an uncanny likeness to the floyd of the 70’s, all make for a superb visual experience and a real trip back in time. “fantastic!” -David Gilmour Since their first show in November 1996, The Jamm have been delighting fans of Paul Weller’s original group in sell-out performances. The Jam sadly played their last gig in 1982 leaving many thousands of fans dreaming of the day when the band would reform. This was not to be. The Jamm portrayed by John Southorn-Paul, Richard Reid-Rick and Ray Begg-Bruce, pay tribute to that period from the charting of IN THE CITY to the day Paul stood on Brighton pier and a n n o u n c ed , “I’ve had enough”. The TRIBUTE SHOW, backed by the experience of over 2000 live performances, will take you back 20 years, with over 30 songs packed into a HIGH ENERGY, authentic performance.

Us4//U2 were formed in the year 2000 and have performed shows all over the world in countries and colonies including the UK, Channel Islands, Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Falkland Islands, Açores(Portugal) and Bahrain. The Us4//U2 show takes you on a journey through U2's 25 year career, delivering an energetic performance which has carved their reputation as one of the most sought after tribute bands in Europe. Their stage performances are 100% live with no tapes or sequencing. All the members of Us4//U2 have vast live and studio experience in various original and signed bands. Having played Glastonbudget 06 Us4//U2 have been invited back to headline the tribute stage on Saturday night. And what a show we are sure they’ll be putting on. With the bass lines threatening to split my sternum, spot on vocals, drums that would likely as not waken the dead from the nearby church-yard, guitar that must make The Edge edgy for his own position in the band this band would give the original U2 a good run for their money!

Special Guest

Best known as the lead singer from The Specials, and as one of the founding members of Fun Boy 3, Neville Staple is credited with changing the face of pop music not only once but twice. Neville's biography and past projects read like a who's who of rock. He has worked with such legends as Elvis Costello (The Specials 1979 - Chrysalis Records), David Byrne (Fun Boy 3 Waiting 1983 - Chrysalis Records), and Ali Campbell (Today's Specials 1996 - Kuff Records/Virgin), to name only a few. His talents are found on the unique tribute album, Searching For Jimi Hendrix (1999 - Capitol Records) a project that Neville is personally quite proud of. In addition to having recorded with some of rock's most famous, he has also shared the stage with such icons as Ranking Roger (English Beat) forming Special Beat. Although this line-up never actually recorded an album they successfully toured the U.S. with Sting and Steel Pulse, which ultimately lead up to their own headline tour. Since 1998 Neville has been on a mission to entertain, successfully touring Japan, South America and extensively touring North America with his band. It is worth seeing Neville's live performance; his captivating stage presence and distinct voice are well worth it. Catch his show on Sunday.

Tribute Formed in 1999, Stereotonics are now considered by many, as the official tribute to Stereophonics. From humble beginnings, Stereotonics have now emerged as one of the UK's finest tribute bands. After getting airplay on national radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Virgin Radio even the real Stereophonics have now heard them and agree that they sound good. All of this from what started out as a hobby all those years ago, is just testament to the skill and finesse each and every show contains. The Stereotonics return to Glastonbudget and are back by popular demand. They rated highly on the internet poll last year and we're glad they are here to entertain us once more.

The original tribute to the biggest selling boy-band ever in the UK. The only tribute to Take That with the full original 5 piece line up! See and hear all the greatest hits of the most successful UK boy band ever! Fake That simulate the original 5 piece line-up of Gary, Mark, Howard, Jason and yes even Robbie. Fake That play GB07 on Sunday and we cannot wait, and although they may return they probably won’t come back for good.

Tribute Who's Who is a dynamic powerful tribute band from the U.K with all of the energies, passion and angst of The Who at their peak. They recreate the classic hits. The band is a five-piece and incorporates keyboards in order to authentically reproduce the full orchestration of albums such as, 'Who's Next', 'Quadrophenia' and 'Tommy'.

Who's Who's exciting live performances with Townshend's leaping and Daltrey's microphone whirling antics receive incredible reactions country wide. But it’s not just about the theatrics; they are widely recognised and respected by their musical peers, and The Who hierarchy as the leading Who tribute style band in the country. Armed with little more than one album from which to construct their set (albeit an album from which the entire audience knows the words to every single track), they're scorching and even earn themselves an encore. They play You Look Good on the Dancefloor a second time but the audience certainly doesn't mind. If Alex Turner and Co really dislike publicity so much, they could do a lot worse than paying the Antarctic Monkeys to do their tours for them. Fantastic Set With a new album due next few months and more material then watch out GB Antartica are armed and dangerous.

Tribute T.Rextasy, the ultimate tribute to Marc Bolan & T.Rex, made their debut on 18 September 1992 in a small club in Hackney. The venue sold out with new and old T.Rex fans, including ex-T.Rex drummer, Bill Legend. Today, T.Rextasy are hailed as one of the highest acclaimed tribute bands on the scene. GB welcomes them back for their second performance.

Based in Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire in the UK, The Secret Police recreate the sound of the The Police as they were during the late 70's and early to mid 80's. With three band members just like the original band, The Secret Police have been together for ten years now - and it shows -

the songs are so tight, you couldn't get a rizla betweenthem. The set will appeal to live music fans anywhere, this is simply a good rock band, playing great songs which many will know and love. Just about everyone has a favourite Police track.

Tribute WOW! What a performance they put in for 2006. How could we not ask them back. Also voted the best band of GB06 by you, and deservedly so. These guys will be playing last thing on the Sunday night to finish off GB07. If this band is good enough for the drummer of Queen, Roger Tailor, to book for the annual yaughting regata at the Casino Majorca which he attends each year. Then thats good enough for us.

The Connexions Leicester Shire / Glastonbudget Schools Band of the Year is Hazardous Materials. These cheeky chappies from Leicester play a mixture of rock songs and kick us off on the Saturday. They are the culmination of a year’s project finding Leicestershire top young new-act. In fact these guys are a wannabe Green Day Tribute and really perhaps should be playing the Tribute Stage! As they are first up you will want to be up bright and early to catch these guys who really are not to be missed. Hazardous Materials represent Riverside Business and Enterprise College, Leicester and we are expecting lots of support for them. STONEVIBE was put together by the multi-

talented William Joseph who is singer/songwriter and musician accompanied by fellow musicians Martin Lawson lead guitar, Sam Dews bass, Roman Chandrouski keyboards, Craig Christopher drums. Their music is a clever fusion of Indies alternative rock our stage show is highly entertaining with catchy lyrics and haunting melodies that capture real life situations of which many can relate to.

Sub Rosa are a Leicester band residing in alternative rock, schizophrenic and anxious in their approach, nodding towards British Indie with the occasional Acid Flashback to the days of Grunge. The band are a regular feature of the local live circuit, receiving many rave reviews from local press and receiving the tag of "Best Live act" from Leicestermusicscene.co.uk. They also won the East Midlands round of UK Unsigned

New Acts 2007 has started well for Subdüde! A respectable gig calendar, more new songs to prep for live shows & a real 'buzz' from many local music venues & promoters! The crowning glory so far though is to be invited to play at GLASTONBUDGET 2007! One more thing to cross off the "things to do before we die" list. It was February 2006 when Ian, John, Andy & Michael first got together to form…Subdüde. An honest, down-to-earth, fun-loving rock band with a desire to appeal to as wider audience as possible! Subdüde are Ian Waterhouse - Lead Vocals / Acoustic Guitar, John 'JB' Blakemore - Guitar / Vocals, Andy Whitmore - Bass / Vocals, Michael Adams - Drums. C*Bob is a young singer-songwriter form Leicester, England who has not only called his band but also dubbed his music "Sunshine Blues" - fresh, upbeat, feel-good vibes that ooze a sense of long summer days spent chilling with friends and a cold beer. Via word of mouth, tireless self promotion and use of web resources such as Myspace, hundreds of people worldwide are checkin' the C and relaxing to the sunny B sound. Releasing his first single 'Let Me Know' from the 6 track record as a free download, it wasn't only C*Bob's way of saying thank you to all the people that have supported him so far, but as a way of reaching out to ask more and more people worldwide - are you Checkin' the C?

New Acts THE RISKS are from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire. They were set up in October 2005 and gained a new drummer in May 2006. They produce a sensible mix of indie rock with a dance/ funk influence. The songs are varied, infection and powerful. The licks over the top can range from heavy to still to heartbreakingly mellow. The drums are powerful, mellow, combusting and anarchic. The bass is funk, slap, power and perfection combined. The distinctive vocals generate true energy and undoubted quality. What you will hear is a unique blend of infestious melodies with attitude, feeling and a meaning. This is music that is raw and alive and certainly a distinctive style. Checkout the tunes, feel the live vibe and decide for yourself....They have played recently on tour with Little Man Tate and North side. They have recently been included on The Big British Indi Comeback album Word wide - for sale in all major record shops. Started around the summer of 2004 "Icelandic Traffic Badgers" have had many adventures and have come a long way since their first gig way back when. In early 2006 they reached the final of the west midlands battle of bands final at the wulfrun and assembled a watching crowd of over 500 many of which believed they should have won!!!! They have since played many venues including the little civic (wolves) and the shed in Leicester and of course many pubs in and around our area. The bands four members each bring their own personalities and tastes to the band making it a unique blend!

New Acts The Mile are a Leicester band, formed by singer/songwriter Nick Wallis in Feb 2005 with musician friends he knew on the local scene for their individual qualities in order to create a vehicle for performing and recording new songs. The Mile immediately began writing an impressive body of work, taking a set of new songs on the road in July 2005 to high acclaim. The band continued to work up yet more new songs of yearning and alienation at a prodigious rate. Twelve of these songs comprise the debut album 'Two Days of School' which was recorded in two days in July 2006. The Mile are touring England this summer and recording tracks for their second album as well as playing regularly at local Leicester venues such as The Charlotte and The Shed. They will be embarking on a US tour in September this year, which includes Memphis, Nashville and St Louis, under the auspices of the small US indie label Blue Monkey. The Alyscamps combine the perfect ingredients of old school rock 'n' roll, country, folk and popular indie rock music to create a fusion so great they have attracted acclaim from around the world. This awesome and edgy mix of styles has been humorously nicknamed 'The Alyscamps Buffet' as they have an extremely marketable and mixed bag of songs which will appeal to every music fan. With legendary musical greatness running in her family, Ruth Clapton hopes to carry on the tradition and make a name for herself in the same business as her Father. Members Jay, Ross and Paul are all former band mates from indie rock band 'The Kiks', add the outstanding genius that is Ben on guitar and Adam on drums and the exceptional musicianship the band show is way beyond that of your usual 'rock' band. The Alyscamps are anything but ordinary.

New Acts The Starrlings have a dynamic infiltrating sound that uses excellent musical technique and raw feeling to create a volcanic sound build on melody and catchy riffs. The Starrlings are most certainly a pop band with catchy lyrics and big choruses. Formed in Nottingham 18 months ago. The Starrlings have gone from strength to strength. In roads in London are being made by The Starrlings enjoying airplay on 'Virgin Radio', coverage in 'NME' and interviews with 'Uncut' magazine. The Starrlings are embarking on a mini UK tour before playing a showcase to major labels in London in June. After seeing The Starrlings perform @ Manchester 'Cella Vie' Spencer Wells manager of 'James Morrison' (UK number one male artist) declared ''It is The Starrlings destiny to fill the void left by Oasis and Ocean Colour Scene. Not a band to be missed.. Music Roll Exchange formed in South London in 2003 to create a melodic blend of Rock 'n' Roll drenched in killer hooks and catchy choruses. Two Yorkshire-men, a Londoner, and a Brummie-Scot make up the band - and it's proving to be a very successful formula! In 2004 they were hand picked by Virgin to play to 10,000 people in Richard Branson's back yard, spent 24 weeks in the top 10 of Radio1's One Music chart, and in April 2006, a full house at Carling Academy Islington saw them shake its very foundation. Other rewards have come in the form of support slots with the likes of Alabama3 (who described the band as 'the best unsigned band they'd seen for time') and Mark Morris of the Bluetones. 'There is something decidedly different about this band, and once heard they are hard to forget' And that's exactly what the band is aiming to do - to firmly embed themselves in the musical memory of as many people as possible.

New Acts Plastic Toys are a 4 piece band from Southampton. They play an exhilarating blend of rock, pop and electro noise. Think Nine Inch Nails meets The Killers and you'd be close. The band's natural showmanship is undeniable; this is flambouyant, energetic rock played with passion. Recent sold out headline shows and support slots with the likes of Shiny Toys Guns and Trashlight Vision pay testament to this. "They look good, they sound massive and they even have the good-looking frontman Jon for your girlfriend to drool over and the beautiful Kitty on bass for all the boys to get excited about! What else could you possibly need? " Southscene Pink Strip… A dirty, pretty, aggressive, unrepressed rock band that play steaming hot, catchy songs with sing along sinister lyrics! 2 girls… Luce and Camilla, front the band. They love to sweat, they love to mosh, they love to go wild, but most of all they love to do it with some seriously sexy, feminine attitude. 4 boys… Chris, Dan, Doug and Alf create an immense sound, with chunky bass lines, screaming guitar solo's and enough live energy to set an igloo alight. 6 rock stars with one goal… to leave everyone wanting more… more music, more dancing, more singing and most importantly more Pink Strip!

New Acts

The Satin Dolls are a Warwickshire based four-piece rock/pop band. The group have been lucky enough to perform & record with some well known producers & performers in the UK music scene. The first song professionally recorded was 'Walk Away' written by J Burrows & R Wells. This song was produced by Mike Crossey (producer of the Zutons, Artic Monkeys, OMD etc). It was thanks to Andy McClusky from OMD that the band was given the chance to record at the Motor Museum studios, with Mike Crossey in Liverpool. It was after playing a hard hitting gig at Satan's Hollow in Manchester, supporting the then up & coming Subways, Andy offered the band time in his studio (the Motor Museum). After a few visits to the studio, The Satin Dolls went away with three professionally produced tracks (Walk Away, Tell Me & Tonight). Currently, the band is working hard recording an eagerly anticipated album, which will be finished within the next two months. The Satin Dolls have just finished filming a music DVD in association with the fantastic 'rarecompany' www.myspace.com/rarecompany for their sort after track 'Walk Away', which will be online within the month. 2 sets of brothers formed in 1998 as a covers band and have developed their sound into what has become one of the most original on the UK music scene. New Acts Sworn Amongst

Sworn Amongst are a metal outfit from Hull, Yorkshire. Formed in 2003 Frank, Jonny, Rob and Harvey play a brutal concoction of melodic and groove-filled thrash metal strongly influenced by bands like Pantera, Machine Head, In Flames, Megadeth & Metallica.

Kerrang! are keen followers, and the band made masses of fans in the recent Snickers/Kerrang! Unsigned competition to win a slot at Download festival, Donington Park, after surviving opposition from nearly 3000 other acts. The guys went down a storm, and were selected for the final by a public vote where they finished second overall, in turn ensuring many thousands of hits on their website daily. Since then, the band have toured the UK constantly with an endless passion. Alongside positive reviews from media outlets all over the world, including Terrorizer, Metal Hammer and the BBC, the band continues to acquire multiple airplays on Kerrang Radio. The James Warner Prophecies are a hugely original band from the Midlands town of Derby. Mixing uplifting yet thought provoking acoustic songs, funky beats, edgy blues and blood curdling near metal rock outs, their unconventional sound (including flutes, mandolins, violins and harmonica) complements their lust for a heavy rock song surprisingly well and is balanced with a gift of writing great tunes that genuinely stand out from the rest. Formed in mid 2003, The James Warner Prophecies have built up a solid fan base in and around Derbyshire and are now playing shows all over the UK, including numerous festival support and headline appearances. Ram FM Unsigned Band of the year competition winners in 2006 with over 4000 listener votes and Metal Mansions Band of the Year 2005 the year before, they have proved themselves time and time again to be an amazing live band, their live shows have been described as "very powerful" and range from heavy rock to beautiful soul searching melodies in the blink of an eye.

New Acts Purple and the Rains are a three Purple and the Rains piece power trio with Georgie on guitar and the singer, francis on bass guitar and robert on drums. Georgie writes the songs for the band. They play lots of gigs all round the midlands and we have been in a few competitions. You have to keep your eyes on Georgie to fully appreciate his mastery of the guitar and to fully enjoy the experience as Georgie plays the guitar with his teeth, behind his back and has many more tricks he can perform on stage. The band regularly play local gigs at the Shed and The Musician in Leicester centre and we are travelling further afield with gigs. Purple and The Rains sent a demo to be in a competition called The Band of Britain Awards by Amicus. The band got picked out of 1000's of bands out of the whole country and played at the semi-finals which was took placed in Nottingham at Rock City. Purple and The Rains got through to the final and played in London at an open-air festival called The Scoop. The band has also made live appearances on BBC Radio Leicester and been played on Fosseway Radio. They were also asked to write a song for The Children's Society, called I'm Just Me. Lyrically Purple and the Rains are quite simplistic. They write all there own songs and their goal is to become professional Rosalita musicians. The electro/indie/pop act has been steadily rising since their formation in early 2005. Members Kris Andrew (Vocals), John Randall (Drums), Jay Goodrich (Bass), Richard Tyler (Guitar), Ben Groom (Keys), started out in their hometown of Ipswich and have since played over 150 shows all around the country. Rosalitas jerky sound and manic live performances have created quite a stir amongst fans and industry alike, with their journey so far including huge shows at major venues such as The UEA, Norwich; Corn Exchange, Cambridge; and Carling Academy, Islington. This coupled with radio airplay from influential BBC 6 Music DJ Steve Lamacq, and victory in Archant Newsgroups ‘Next Big Thing’ competition means Rosalita is fast becoming the name on everybody’s lips on the unsigned scene.

New Acts Formed in 2006, The Carnabys began life as a Beatles cover band under the name of The Jist. But as Wi lliamson/Iliffe began to write material in August 06', the band transformed from 60's cabaret to 60's inspired rock 'n' roll with attitude, belief and mesmerising songs. At the start of 2007, Walker joined on drums after The Carnabys had so many stick men they lost count. "We think our sound is unique in modern terms. No one out there sounds as good as us. From the past? Maybe The Kinks trying to be The Who…or The Who trying to be The La's" Headland tells me with a confused look. Back in 2006, The Carnabys were initially described as a band "wearing their heart of their sleeves too much". But as the boys aggressively defend; "It is who we are. We were brought up on this diet of classic, 60's, rock 'n' roll"."If it wasn't that then maybe some late 50's stuff or, at a later date, Oasis". The band dub themselves as "Rootsy, edgy, and driven, with plenty of soul" Formed in Leicester at the beginning of 2003 from the ashes of other bands, Proud To Have Met You use their similar tastes in music to form the basis and grounding of their songs, whilst using their own personal influences to craft their unique sound. The history between the four members could not be more complicated but all you need to know is that Proud To Have Met You are Phil Poole, vocals and lyricist, Dale Major, guitarist and co-song writer with bass player Ben Little. Finally the backbone of the band is drummer Matt Smith.

The Tie Club The tie club was founded in 1985 by a group of regulars in a pub in Leicester who set about raising money for charity. It was decided to donate all of this money to Ash Field School in Leicester for the supply of Electric wheel chairs. To this day, they still remain their charitable cause although donations have been to other local charities.

We Need Your Help The Tie Club became well known for the crazy stunts they pulled, from cycling 212 miles from Newhaven to Leicester dressed as Norman Knights, mounted on cycles that looked like horses, to rowing a boat from Leicester to Nottingham dressed in 'Maid Marion' costumes. Oars For The Cause As the name may suggest, The Tie Club is taking to the water again. This year, five members will attempt to row a boat from London to Thurmaston (North Leicester), travelling along the Grand Union Canal. Two of the members rowing are two of the organisers of Glastonbudget, Nick Tanner & Chris Dunn. They will leave London on Saturday 16th June, and arrive back in Thurmaston on Saturday 23rd June, after navigating 130 miles and 140 locks. Whilst the rowers are breaking their backs, hands covered in blisters, other members of The Tie Club will be back at base, The Harrow (Thurmaston), organising and participating in other fund raising activities, such as static rowing, a treasure hunt, quiz and fancy dress night. These events, along with other fundraising, have helped the Tie Club raise in excess of ÂŁ142,000. Details of these activities and an in depth history of the tie club can be found on their website www.thetieclub.co.uk. If anyone would like to champion this very worthy cause, either by donation, sponsorship or just offering support please either visit the website or enquire at The Harrow in Thurmaston. If you catch one original unsigned band at this year’s Glastonbudget, make sure its Skam#. They won’t be unsigned forever. Formed in the Nottingham / Derby post colliery wastelands in January 2005, these then 16/17 year olds stepped out to learn their trade the hard way. With over 200 shows in 2 years at venues from Nottingham Rock City to Derby Assembly Rooms to Manchester Academy and beyond, playing tour slots with such luminaries as; The Subways, The Fight, Trashlight Vision, and Komakino.Having come to the attention of BND Music Co. and small independent label "Trashpit Records" they released their first single attaining "single of the week" status for three weeks running in their target HMV stores. New Acts An all girl four piece rock band that's original, good looking, talented and born to rock, Christ, what more do want when your sitting in a field in Leicestershire and your beers gone warm. Idle Silver are a fresh, hard hitting band from around Warwickshire. Formed from the ashes of Lovebites, former members Beka, Laura and K@ decided to continue to fuel their passion for rock music by going for a raw and edgy sound that makes you want to rock. At the beginning the of the year, and due to musical differences (yes, that old chestnut), Idle Silver was formed. Joined by a sassy new bassist, Flo. They have produced a sparking new edge to all their original new material. You can't t watch and listen to these girls without being moved by the energy they give off, it's infectious, but in a nice way. With just an average age of 18, don't expect these girls to be teenyboppers with guitars, they are so much more.

New Acts

The Voodoo Vegas boys will be kicking this year at GB, with a great stage set of those rockin 'n' rollin songs you've come to love or may be experiencing for the first time. The thing is, you see, these boys never sit still, so check out their website and MySpace sites for their latest gigging news and, much like when you see them live, take a listen to their two cracking new songs, 'Samaritan Man' and 'Perfect Girl;' then tell me this band aren't one of the best rock 'n' roll bands this year. Voodoo Vegas play Sunday night.

Introducing the most frightening thing to come out of Nottingham since Torvill and Dean... rising from the ashes of what was undoubtedly the greatest "Blue Peter Metal" band of their time - Thor's Children, Evil Scarecrow have gone on to leave audiences awed by their Iron Maiden meets Black Metal meets stickyback plastic performances. With influences from artists such as Cradle Of Filth, Slayer, Europe and of course Immortal's make up application techniques, you can never be too sure what will be served up next, but that's just part of the experience. It is Evil Scarecrow's impressive song writing and ingenious lyrics that are the key to their success, blending together humour with their love for all things Heavy Metal‌ though of course a bit of co-ordinated dancing never hurt anyone! It is this passion and enthusiasm which never fails to connect with their audience.
