Kamloops Mill Mill

The mill first started operations in 1965. Major expansion to 1250 admt/d, completed in August 1972. Fibre line upgrade in 1994 including Kamyr digester and GL&V 0~2 delig increased ‘B Mill capacity to 1000 admt/d. Ownership changed in March 2007 from Weyerhaeuser Company Limited to Domtar Pulp & Paper Products Inc. Major capital program in 2011-2012 increased power generation to 70 MW including two new turbine generators. Debottlenecking in 2012-2013 increased ‘B line production to 12,000 adt/d following the permanent closure of the sawdust pulp line.
