La Natività in mostra Exhibition of Nativity scenes Palazzo Coiro a Castelmezzano ospiterà per tutte le vacanze di Natale la prima edizione dei Presepi a chilometro zero: una mostra di presepi artigianali realizzati con materiali autoctoni da aziende e privati del paese. Le Natività, molto originali e creative, sono circa una quindicina: da quella fatta in ferro dal fabbro a quella di pane dal fornaio. La mostra verrà inaugurata il giorno dell'Immacolata e rimarrà aperta nei giorni 13-15-22 dicembre e per tutto il periodo natalizio. Ingresso gratuito.
During the Christmas season the Coiro Palace in Castelmezzano hosts the first edition of Presepi a chilometro zero, an exhibition of handmade nativity scenes made out of local materials by some local companies and citizens. The Nativity scenes created, all extremely original and creative (from the iron one to the edible bread one), are 15 in total. The exhibition opens on the 8th December and closes at the end of the Christmas season (also opened on December 13-15-22). Free entrance.
Un presepe nel presepe A Nativity inside the Nativity Sarà davvero emozionante assistere alla trasformazione delle Dolomiti Lucane, durante la notte Santa, in un magico presepe animato da figuranti del posto di ogni età sul dolce sottofondo musicale delle zampogne. Il corteo partirà da località San Marco alle 21:30 del 24 dicembre attraversando i vicoli del borgo. La manifestazione, organizzata dal gruppo Giovani di Castelmezzano, sostenuti dalla Parrocchia Santa Maria dell'Olmo e giunta alla VII edizione, sarà riproposta il 28 dicembre dalle 15:00 alle 23:00.
On Christmas eve the Dolomiti Lucane are going to experience a radical transformation we are all expecting with great anticipation. Our mountains are going to turn into a Nativity scene thanks to the collaboration of local actors and performers. The parade starts in San Marco on the 24th of December at 9.30 pm and crosses the streets of the village. The event, organized by the association Giovani di Castelmezzzano supported by the Parish of Santa Maria dell’Olmo, has now reached its 7th edition and will be replayed on the 28th of December from 3 pm to 11 pm.
