A number of 31 people, 9 teachers and 22 students, representatives of all project partner schools, attended the meeting between 04th-10th March 2018

Our students carefully organized every detail to make foreign students feel welcome, showing their homes and pointing out the most relevant aspects of their customs and culture. Hosting a foreign student was a real occasion of growth and cultural comparison

Sustainable boat in Pozzallo Harbour Young people play a central role in sustainable development. That’s why our students built a boat, using only plastic bottles, according to sustainable consumption policies, that increasingly take into account the social and ethical dimensions of products and how they are produced as well as their ecological impacts

The cooperation with the “Lega Navale, a local naval association, allowed us to make an incredible experience with the sustainable boat. The boat, made of over than 500 recycled plastic bottles, crossed the sea in the small port of Pozzallo, from one side to the other.

The Italian students presented the UDA “Citizens of the World”, a teaching unit within a multidisciplinary project about food and culture from different countries. The topic was also related to the theme of the mobility in Italy “Healthy living, Food and Sports” and it shows how the project objectives have been integrated in our educational activities, encouraging a sustainable consumption behavior and improving our school curricula. 28
