Lake Adventures

Join Juniors and Cadettes for a weekend of water fun at Camp Juniper Knoll. Canoeing, sailing, swimming and basic water safety will be the focus. Lots of time for hiking, making new friends, campfires and songs. This event is open for troops and individual girls. Stay in platform tents. Me & My Pal

Grab your favorite guy (male relative 18 years or older) and head to camp for the weekend! Swim, hike, meet new friends, enjoy a campfire, and more. Family members will be in platform tents, or you can bring your own tent. Open to all age levels. Paddle and Swim

Enjoy the pool on Friday evening as we complete the swim test. Then on Saturday head out to Silver Springs Lake to learn and practice canoe skills. Spend the rest of Saturday completing a variety of fun activities, including a creek walk, swimming, and a campfire. On Sunday head to the Fox River to canoe. Girls must be able to swim at least 50 yards continuously and be comfortable in moving water. (Bus transportation from camp to Silver Springs Lake and canoe launch on Sunday included.) Senior/Ambassador Escape Weekend

Spend time with girls your age. Plan what the weekend will be. Each troop or individual girls will plan an activity and share with others. Relax with friends, make new friends and get unplugged! Spring Break Day Camp

Get outdoors on your spring break! Discover Camp Butternut Springs as you hike, play games, try archery (4th grade and older) and cook over a campfire. On Thursday, your family is invited to a picnic dinner and evening campfire. Bring some friends who are not Girl Scouts! Program Aide Basics Check the council website beginning Feb. 1 for the spring program aide basic trainings and locations! Interested in offering a program aide basic training in your service unit? We will work with you to schedule something close to home. There must be a minimum of 25 girls in attendance. Contact Peggy Brothers at pbrothers@girlscoutsgcnwi.org to request a date.
