PANTO COMES to the Benidorm Palace and its own ‘Big Top’ this month with a specially written show Aladdin and the Magic Circus. Combining the marvel of the circus, some magic and fantasy, and bags of audience participation, this family production is being staged on 16th, 17th and 18th of December. And a star-studded cast plucked from the resort’s most talented performers are joined by more than 60 entertainers from the Broadway Performance Academy and its senior dance troop, while no circus would be complete without Benidorm Palace’s own ‘acromaniacs’. The Benidorm Palace, ringmaster David Climent and Larger than Life Productions have forged a partnership to spread some seasonal cheer and thrill every audience
with this tale of Aladdin. The show features ‘the legendary’ Jason Kane, girls Aloud and Fab FM’s Jessie Brook, Emma Burns of ABBAlichous, Queen of the Queen’s Hotel Miss Levi G, Take That’s Matt Fisher and Ricky Lea, and Fab FM’s Jimbo, actress Jo Venet. Tickets are €12.50 for adults and €8.50 for children. Shows begin at 18.00 on Thursday 16th December and Friday 17th December. On Saturday 18th December, curtain up is at 14.00 and again at 18.00. Birthday Party
SPECSAVERS HELD a party at the Calpe store on Saturday 27th November. By lunchtime the store was packed with guests enjoying birthday cake, Mistela, Tapas and Cava, served by the staff. A raffle was held, with the proceeds split between the Poppy Appeal and the Red Cross.
