All Roads Lead to Sale

The Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia is celebrating their 26th Anniversary, with a Rally in Sale. Up to 900 motorhomes will descend on the Sale Showgrounds from April 4 onwards, participating in activities and competitions. Recent rallies have been held in Rockhampton, Port Macquarie, Deniliquin and Kalgoorlie. All a major success for the towns hosting the events. Colin Gard, Rally Manager, claims there is an immediate beneficial financial effect on the host towns and cities. Colin is a former resident of Sale.

Let the Rodeo’s Begin!

A new era in how markets operate has begun in Sale, with Morwell following suit soon. Local Entrepenuer, Mark Watson, has transformed the Sale Farmers Market into a permanent installation inside the old Cobb & Co buildings. With 20 shops trading all under the one roof, the shopper has an unprecedented choice of goods and services to choose from. “This has never been done before in Gippsland,” says Mark.

“It’s a perfect opportunity for small traders who cannot afford the expense of owning and operating their own retail store, to have access to a large audience, while keeping their overheads down.”

There will be a central point of sale, where all goods and services purchased will be paid for, with each individual trader operating under a roster system of manning the till. read more ... P5
