ITERS and Dinner! A FREE class to introduce you to the Infant and Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-R), an evaluative tool used to improve the overall quality and appropriateness of infant/toddler classrooms/programs. ITERS-R assesses seven components, including: Space and Furnishings; Personal Care Routines; Listening & Talking; Activities; Interaction; Program Structure; and Parents & Staff. ITERS-R draws from research evidence from several relevant fields, professional views of best practice, and the practical constraints of real life in a child care setting. DATE: AUGUST 13, 2012
