Kusmi tea is a favourite.
COVER STYLE DIARY
A lazy Sunday is often spent in the company of freshly brewed tea and a good book.
Bodil loves to laugh. Here in a dress from Urban Outfitters.
Chanel is one of Bodil’s favourite perfumes.
Web editor Bodil Jensen’s style could be defined as a mix between minimalist masculinity and playful femininity sprinkled with an exotic influence of travels in China, Vietnam and England. This spring she is looking forward to adding some more stripes and dots to her closet. ”Spring is like the beginning of a new life, you finally wake up and get out”. “Norwegian Wood” by Haruki Murakami, because it's a great love story that gets under your skin and makes you want to read it all over again. He is an amazing writer. I'm also a fan of another one of his books- “Kafka On The Shore”. A colourful dress can change a bad mood. This one is Bodil’s favourite from Rude.
Bodil bought“Hang it all” by Charles and Ray Eames in a Berliner art museum shop. It is her favourite interiors piece because it makes her feel happy when she looks at it.
FAVOURITE SHOP IN COPENHAGEN
Bodil’s library is a mix of travel literature and crime novels.
Bodil enjoys beautiful accessories. The pink bow necklace on the left was given to her by a friend and the golden ball one is her all time favourite from Pico. The red shoes on the right are vintage and a constant companion on a night out, being both “comfortable and sexy”.

I'd say my bike. I use it all the time and you can go everywhere in Copenhagen within 10 minutes. I love the freedom it gives me. I almost feel like we have a relationship because we have been to so many places together! FAVOURITE PERFUME
Urban Outfitters because they always have something I want to get. Pico on Østerbrogade because it's like walking into a candy store. They make beautiful jewellery and hair accessories in the back of their store.
Coco Chanel in the day, because it is soft and feminine but with an edge. Gucci Rush in the evening because it's sexy.
I always wear black when I don't know what to wear. But sometimes, when I'm having a bad day, wearing a colourful dress makes me feel better. My favourite is a 50’s flower dress from Copenhagen brand Rude. Flowers make me feel good and I especially like the flowers on that dress, because they are in the most beautiful orange and blue shade.
I saw "The Air Is On Fire" by David Lynch at the Gl. Strand gallery. The most interesting part of the exhibition was his collection of ideas from the last forty years of his life. He had saved everything, from drawings on a post it note and matchstick boxes to full page illustrations. It was overwhelming and fascinating to see so many different thoughts and ideas coming from the same person.
FAVOURITE TRAVEL DESTINATION
I spend most of my free time in the company of good friends, enjoying late night drinks and music. But I love being on my own, creating things. I once made colourful necklaces which I sold at a flea market. They were made of plastic beads, just like the ones you did when you were a kid. There’s something childish and retro about it, I like that. I also love spending time in the nature. It clears my mind. LATEST BUY
Vintage blue earrings from Pico. I just couldn’t help myself.
She fell for the poster on the right while on a trip to Berlin visiting her sister, fashion designer Mille Marie Jensen.
Vietnam, because of its beautiful and inspiring culture. Vietnamese people have a positive outlook and I admire their openness. I think we could learn a lot from their way of taking care of each other. They treat you like you’re part of the family. NEXT BUY
I’ve just booked flights to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Seattle. I’m excited to see where it takes me. You never know if you’ll end up getting married in Vegas or run into somebody who will change your life forever.
A bright yellow table she painted herself and a picture of favourite band Fleetwood Mac on the wall add personality to Bodil’s living room.
