V-Seal Shuttle Valve
Improving subsea corrosion resistance and extending cycle life through new technology. The GEN2 V-Seal Shuttle Valve design exceeds new offshore industry requirements. An increase in cycle life was proven through extreme testing to meet the demand of 5 year service life under normal operating conditions. This valve replaces the legacy shuttle valves in your existing equipment as they have the same footprint and do not require re-piping . Significant engineering enhancements •
New V-seal and hydraulic damping technology prevent seal failure and improve cycle life
•
Corrosion resistant material selection throughout for subsea applications including Nitronic 60 shuttle, sleeves, and caps.

Gilmore V-Seal Shuttle Valve
Proprietary Dynamic V-seal technology extends seal retention
Nitronic® shuttle, cages, and guides prevent galling during shuttle transition
Assembly 1-1/2” Cutaway
Damping Stage 1
A-286 cap screws with Nord-Lock® washers for better flange security
At beginning of shift volume change between shuttle and 1st cage reduces shuttle velocity
Damping Stage 2
Benefits Exceeds API 16D test requirements Qualified multiple valves to 2500 cycles at maximum flow conditions Order of magnitude reliability improvement Designed and tested to meet the demands of 5 years of maintenance free service under normal operating conditions Effortless retrofits Identical footprint of the legacy Gilmore shuttle valves
Near end of shift volume change between shuttle and 2nd cage reduces shuttle velocity prior to engaging V-Seal
Damping Stage 3
Extended Life Cycle
Dynamic V-Seal does not feather or extrude
Robust flange containment A-286 cap screws with Nord-Lock® washers Corrosion resistant materials Suitable for long term subsea applications
At end of shift volume change between shuttle and 2nd cage further reduces shuttle velocity as V-Seal is energized
