Gilles Thieffry launched his legal career through a multi-national education. After completing undergraduate studies in France, he earned a Diploma in Law and International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, then went on to acquire a Master of Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
Following his graduation, Gilles Thieffry became a Foreign Associate for White & Case in New York, where he performed debt restructuring and conducted arbitration. Thieffry then served as an Assistant at De Bandt Van Hecke & Lagae in Brussels, where he continued to conduct arbitration while working in EEC (European Economic Community) law.
