As part of the Festival of Architecture 2016 and the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, the Glasgow Institute of Architects is celebrating 37 years of presenting Design Awards that recognise excellence in architecture. In support of this, GIA has planned a diverse range of events across Scotland to initiate a critical dialogue about architects and architecture. 37 Years: the Pop-Up Exhibition will celebrate 37 years of Design Awards for architecture presented by GIA to 100 buildings either located in Glasgow itself or designed by Glaswegian architects. The pop-up street exhibition is taking place in North Brunswick Street during the Merchant City Festival.
