Gwendolyn Holbrow has used media from bronze and Barbie dolls to ink and paper in her exploration of the connections and boundaries between substance and spirit, self and other, and the workings of time. She has BAs in Studio Art and Linguistics, has studied bookbinding at the North Bennet Street School, letterpress printing and book arts at the Massachusetts College of Art, and illustration at the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and in 2020 she interned at the historic letterpress shop Hatch Show Print in Nashville.
