Q: How old are you? A: 56 years old Q: How long have you been a security guard at Gig Harbor High School?
A: I have been a security guard here for six years. Q: Do you enjoy your job? Why? A: I love it because I love working with the students. Q: What is the most unusual situation that you’ve encountered since you started working here?
A: I can’t think of anything unusual.
Q: What is the most awkward situation that you have dealt with?
A: It was dealing with a student whose parents were friends of
mine and he was a senior. He had to be suspended which meant he couldn’t walk at graduation.
When asked about Kevin, students had nice things to say about him:
“He tries to do his job to the best of his ability. And I think there are reasons behind what he does.” -Senior Rebecca Keenan “I think he’s doing a good job and he is very helpful. And he is always available when you need him.” -Sophomore Emily Steuk “Every time he comes into my classroom I have a mini heart attack, but he’s always nice and understanding when you actually are in trouble.” -Senior Brayli Dripps
