CASE STUDY 1 LAVA
Above are my exploration of green void project, i altered the original form using points on the initial curves given in the definition. The exploration involved several methods. The first method in the definition was using curve at the end of every branches which we can alter in size and shape, the second one was referring the branches to exoskeleton component. The exoskeleton component allows us to modify the branches. Another Plug-in involved is kangaroo, its used to give the branches force and tension. Our group choose this project as our case study because we were interested in developable form and the unique characteristic of the design.
Above are my further exploration of Green void project, i was trying to recreate the green void using totally different curves, some of them werent as interesting as the original however, i learnt some more characteristics of kangaroo and exoskeleton component.
CASE STUDY 2 chrysalis
RECREATING THE PATTERN
Initially, i used the similar process of making the polygonal structure of vousoir cloud while trying to re create the chrysalis pattern; Scaling the existing polygon and move it on z axis (if the surface is planar). Moreover, to create the undulating surface, i used the same manner as point attractor in rhino using grasshopper.

The purpose of this firs tryout is to test whether or not our group is able to capture the change in emotion experienced by drivers who travel from or to Wyndham city. The panels will create different effects depending on the difference in density of the two destinations. The picture above is the change of emotion that we are trying to capture from Wyndham city to busy CBD. *the tryout is definitely need more depth and development in term of figure.
