Entrepreneur of the Month Meet John and Sandra Lee, they are the owners of Heaven Sent Catering (HSC) both natives of Columbia, SC. Sandra started preparing meals for her family at a very young age. It was at that time she realized that she was a servant of God and her purpose and passion is to feed and serve the world. John and Sandra had dreams of one day becoming personal chefs and owning their own catering company. Prior to going full time with their business in October 2006, Sandra spent over 27 years cooking and in management. She cooked in the family restaurant, the military as a civilian cook, and managed fast food restaurants was her training ground. The Lees’ were relocated by God to Charlotte in August 1995. She began to work in a senior facility as a Dining Service Coordinator. John and Sandra are passionate about preparing meals that’s not only pleasing to the sight, but also to the pallet and your health. Sandra is a certified dietary manager (CDM) and certified food protection professional (CFPP) Serv-Safe Certified. Heaven Sent Catering is a company focused and built on Faith, Honesty, Excellence, Compassion, and Love. They have a heart for people and always treat customers with dignity and respect. They offer cooking lessons, and prepare ethnic dishes for any culture. John & Sandra Lee states the number one key to success is great customer service.
