LETTER FROM

ell, Get it girls, I cannot believe it's already the silly season once again…

FREE ENTRY FREE RIDES & FACE PAINTING VISIT FROM SANTA

Over the next several weeks we will start to prepare festive decorations and gifts (or continue to organise gifts — for all you uber organised people).

FOOD TRUCKS & MARKET STYLE FOOD STALLS

Undoubtedly, over the next several weeks there will also be lots of occasions for celebrations, which is what this issue is all about. November kicks off with Melbourne Cup and then work Christmas parties will be in full swing. I have a few golden rules for these events: don’t be the last to leave (you want to leave them wanting more, not forcing you off the dancefloor); remember to balance drinking water and bubbly, and don’t skip the meal; have a safe way home planned; and lastly, have fun! Enjoy celebrating the wins of the year because you deserve it.

8PM FIREWORKS

Since you’ve been such fabulous fellow Get it girls this year, and every year, I'd like you to think of this issue as our early gift of the season to you, and we hope you love it! Just for you, we have put together a special collection of pieces on the busy-ness epidemic, finding the joy of missing out, mindfulness, festive recipes, and brilliant financial advice that'll help you through the festive season. We also have a thought-provoking article on modern protesting, inspiring local profiles and, of course, fashion that'll have you ready to celebrate in style. So, as we leave you to enjoy another issue Get it girls, remember to take time for yourself. Even if you're as bubbly as champagne, you can't pour from an empty cup. Do the things that make you happy and nurture those relationships that are important to you; that way you can truly enjoy the season, whatever it may mean to you and however you choose to celebrate it. Go ahead now, unwrap this issue, we hope you delight in every page!
