Over six episodes, Salon Joussour introduces Arabic music to culturally interested audience, as well as musicians and artists in the Netherlands. Through lectures, workshops and concerts led by different master musicians from the Arab world at the Korzo Theatre in The Hague, we aim to unlock the essence of the Arab art. Salon Joussour also aims to craft a bridge bonding Western and Arabic music by connecting renowned Dutch musicians with Arab guest in musical collaborations. For the first three events, Salon Joussour invited Ud player Ahmad Al Khatib, Riq player Youssef Riqspeler Hbeisch and singer Rima Khcheich.
