Forum Sambutan 50 Tahun Rukun Negara
In conjunction with Malaysia Day, SEDAR Institute held FORUM “50 YEAR CELEBRATION OF RUKUN COUNTRY: FAITH IN GOD FORMES THE UNITY OF THE PEOPLE” on 20 September 2020 (Sunday).
Rukun Negara terrace formation of national identity of the Malaysian race to preserve independence and maintain unity of fellow citizens. Party Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia and SEDAR Institute hope all can strengthen the iltizam to continue to uphold the principles of the Rukun Negara by this forum.

Special Speech by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for this forum said the Rukun Negara was introduced with the main purpose of forming a strong unity and emphasizing the importance of united and mutual respect. He also hopes that Malaysians who set the diversity of ethnicity, race , religion, and territory united under the umbrella of unity of the country.
This time we invited representatives from the five major religious groups in Malaysia, panel members include S. S Prof. Madya Dato’ Arif Perkasa Dr. Mohd Asri Bin Zainul Abidin (Mufti of Perlis State), Archbishop Julian Leow Beng Kim (Chairman of the Christian Federation of Malaysia), Ms Gowri PS Thangaya (Secretary General, Malaysia Hindu Sangam), Daozhang Tan Hoe Chieow (Federal President of Taoist Malaysia) and Venerable Sing Kan (Head of the Welfare and Charity Department of Malaysia Buddhist Association).
The moderator of the day was Datuk Dr. Dominic Lau Hoe Chai (SEDAR Institute Advisor).
