Don Johnson | Pastor, Power House of Praise 815.276.5457 My story: In 1958, I was born in a Christian home in Chicago. We started out going to church on Sundays. Around the age of 11 years old, my parents separated and going to church was no longer a priority. Growing up in the projects on the westside of Chicago opened up all kinds of opportunity for mischief. I took advantage of many of those SWIMMING opportunities and soon I knew I needed a major change in my life. By the Grace of God, I finished high school and was able to join the U.S. Air Force. Even though I was out of Chicago, my mischievous ways followed me all the way to Utah. There I was faced with a series of issues and hard times and God was reintroduced to me. This time it would turn out to be a lifetime relationship. became licensed. Later, I accepted the call to Pastor. I have attended various Christian training programs and conferences. Seven years ago, I was ordained by The Ambassadors for Christ School of Ministry. I give the Holy Spirit all the credit for teaching me about the things of God. I encourage you to learn with me through several opportunities made available to you at the YMCA:
