Steps to take Resources and costs To be able to fulfil the different tasks the “Ausländerbeiräte” should be provided with sufficient means by the community. Ideally the committee has an own office, and there should be resources for own projects. Besides the process of voting must be paid and organized by the community. Staff (paid, voluntary) Members of the committee work on a voluntary basis, but there should be a staff coordinating the different activities of the committee. Needed partners/ support for the project The implementation of a “Ausländerbeirat” in Bavaria depends on the will of the community, there exists no general law. The community also decides on how many resources and support the committee gets.
