Once you have decided to book your function with us, we do require a non refundable booking deposit. This confirms your booking. FUNCTIONS The Geelong Hotel/216 is the ideal venue for all your social, corporate and private functions. We can accommodate a private gathering of 10 guests or a cocktail /club style event for up to 500 guests. Our friendly and professional team will make your event one to remember. Here at The Geelong Hotel / 216, we pride ourselves on tailoring your functions to your suit your specific needs and requirements.

UPSTAIRS FUNCTION ROOM AND CLUB 216 The upstairs function room is above the main bar with its own private access and is a great venue for your events, birthday parties; corporate functions, sporting club celebrations or end of year Christmas Party. Boasting comfortable modern dĂŠcor, a lounge area with HD Plasma, Pool table, Cocktail Menu, Boutique Beer Bar and rich tones, this venue offers privacy, comfort and style and is a great area for your next function. This room can hold 300 people for a stand up cocktail style event.

ROOM HIRE CHARGES Upstairs Function Room

Minimum 20 guests - Maximum 300 guests

$250 Room Hire - Deposit $400 Bond $75 Sound System Hire There is no room hire charge for the use of the lounge, however for exclusive use minimum spends are applicable. Please discuss this when making your enquiry. Downstairs

Group Bookings (min 10 people) require a $100 booking deposit, refundable on arrival.

FINGER FOOD OPTIONS Our finger food menu is designed in price categories; $5 per head, $8 per head, $10 per head, $15 per head, $20 per head and $25 per head (including full Service). The grazing style menu is designed so your guests can have small individual portions served buffet style. This style of menu is a great way to increase your menu options and portions at a reasonable price. If there is a specific dish you would like us to do, please discuss this when organizing your event.

BEVERAGE PACKAGES $55.00 per person - 3.5 hrs duration $65.00 per person - 4.5 hrs duration This includes Carlton United Tap beer, house white, red and champagne, soft drink and juices. Any functions that require spirits or bottled beer be included in the bar tab, can only be run on a consumption basis.

We can also do PAYG and bar tabs.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS Once the deposit has been received the function or event will be deemed confirmed. We require the deposit to confirm the booking. All numbers are required (where possible) to be confirmed and finalized 48hrs prior to the function date. Numbers that are confirmed at that time will be the amount charged at the end of your function. For private excusive functions you must provide a door/guest list for entry. Any person not on the door list will be refused entry unless otherwise by the host.

CANCELLATION TERMS Any cancellations with 7 or less days notice will result in the forfeit of any deposit paid.

ENTERTAINMENT 216 does allow guest’s own bands or DJ’s to play at an additional cost if our equipment is utilized. If you do require entertainment, please discuss this when organizing your function for pricing. We have a range of in house entertainment & DJ’s that can suit the style of music you require.

AUDIO VISUAL Any audiovisual requirements can be arranged and all hire prices are available on application.

DECORATIONS For all decorations, lighting, sound or other requirements, please discuss when organizing your function for prices and options.

CLOAKING We offer a full cloaking service. Please confirm your cloaking requirements when completing your booking

PROPERTY While all care is taken, we cannot accept any responsibility for damaged or lost personal belongings left on the premises prior to, during or after your function.

SECURITY We can employ a guard in the interests of your door list and guests safety specifically for the duration of your event @ $50.00 per hour. Please confirm your security requirements when completing your booking.
