Description: Occasionally there is the need to insert a publication into the weekly bulletin, such as an upcoming sermon series card or something from one of our core ministries. This task takes 2 or 3 servants approximately one hour to accomplish.

Description: With a partner, fold the weekly bulletin using the machine in the resource room at the church. This task takes about an hour and a half to complete.

Description: There are many times during the course of the week that the Granite State office staff would appreciate someone to cover the phones (during the lunch hour, the monthly staff meeting, etc.)

Outreach- Compassion Ministries Compassion ministries at Granite State exist to help the lost, poor and needy come to accept Christ and see His love for them through our acts of kindness and compassion. Our church exists to help improve a person’s situation and at the same time share the message of Jesus Christ to them. This style of ministry directly reflects the way we see Jesus Christ serving during His earthly ministry.

Description: Operation Christmas Child is an opportunity for Granite State to share the gospel with children all over the world during the Christmas season. By filling shoe boxes with small gifts, candies, and basic necessities, we show a child on the other side of the world the joy of a gift. That gift will be shared with a gospel tract and Bible presented to the children in their own language!

Description: We have discovered that food is available for children during the summer, but most of the time they never receive it because there is no one to give it out. We don’t believe a child should ever go hungry and using the government sponsored food as an opportunity to feed kids who might not otherwise eat. At the same time we get to have our own children’s activities and share the plan of salvation with children and their parents! An awesome opportunity to go beyond ourselves. Description: We try to go beyond giving someone a meal and give them hope of a life with Christ. By serving people with food and giving them a night of music, drama, and Bible teaching we have an awesome chance to share Christ with those who are in need. We provide an evening that provides a great meal and fantastic message!

Description: We know that we have been incredibly blessed to be a blessing to others. Our food pantry is here for anyone in our area who is in need of food and necessities. We attempt to have a system that is both professional and very comfortable. We don’t exist merely to fill a physical hunger, but also look for the opportunity to share an answer to spiritual needs as well. We keep care record of those who use the service, their allergies, their preferences, and carefully stock our goods through the support of our church.

Description: While we support over sixty different missionaries and dozen ministries, it is difficult to keep each of these in prayer. Our Missions Letter Communicator takes time each week to read through mission’s letters and take careful note of praises, prayer requests that our missionaries have. These notes are used in our Worship Guides & Small Groups to elevate our awareness for our missionaries. We want each of our missionaries to be prayed for on a weekly basis by our church and small groups.

Description: To visiting missionaries, our church is one stop among a line of churches. While they want to be a blessing to us, we understand that they also need to be loved on and cared for while they are traveling around the states. It is our desire to be a church where a missionary leaves feeling refreshed. This Connector will act as liaison for visiting missionaries, making sure they have a key to the apartment, fresh basic necessities, web key information, and a contact phone if they need anything.

Description: Every year we hold a missions conference to elevate our church’s awareness of missions work both locally and globally. We invite missionaries that represent different dynamics of our ministries. We typically include two missionaries we support regularly, a new missionary we would like to support, and a church planting team. Our missions conference team will work with the staff to coordinate room usage, speaker accommodations, activities, and church promotion.

Description: A Missionary Host Home is a place that a visiting missionary can go for an evening to relax and reenergize. A Host Home provides the missionary with dinner and if they want small presents or gifts that could be helpful while they travel. This is an awesome opportunity for small groups to get to know Missionaries, as well as anyone who is interested in missions work around the world. In some cases Host Home might need to provide transportation to and from their church missions apartment.

Description: Special Project Writers research and create original scripts or adapt existing scripts for actors, videographers & editors. Writers work with our Special Projects Producer to create engaging videos for use in our Weekend Worship Services, announcements, and small groups, and much more.

Description: Producers typically oversee the entire video project, from intial brainstorming with the video team to working with the reporter/writer to making sure the assigned videographer captures the desired images. Producers must be able to see the "big picture" and understand how to direct a project from beginning to end. Producers are responsible for putting together a creative team for a specific video project.

Description: Special Projects Video Editors use a digital non-linear editing system Final Cut Pro to convert raw footage to a finished video project. They coordinate with our Producers to ensure that the final video communicates the desired message. Editors will also assist in creating DVD’s and other videos for services.

Description: Special Project Videographers use our Panasonic DVX100 camera to record a wide range of video projects – announcements, upcoming sermon series commercials, interviews, message videos. They are responsible for the setup, use and care of the Video camera and other Video Equipment.
